Chapter 8: The Date

(Sonic's POV)

I was over at Silver's house, helping him get rid of all his stuff in his apartment. I looked at the clock and noticed that it said 5:32. Oh no! We need to get ready for the double date! I tell Silver that we need to get ready and he puts the stools down that he was holding and runs into his room. He grabs the suit I gave him and gets into his truck and beckons me in. I hop in and he drives over to my house. I open the door and run into my house and into my room to get ready. I saw Silver go into the bathroom to get his suit on. A few minutes later, I hop into my car and Silver gets into his truck. I turn the key and start driving to Amy's house. After a while, I arrive at Amy's house and park in her driveway. I walked up the steps to her door and hide the pink roses I got her behind my back as I knocked on the door. I hear foot steps and Amy opens the door. She was wearing a sparkly pink dress. I hand her the roses and say, "You look beautiful."

"Thank you." she says as she steps out of the house and locks the door. I hold out my hand for her to take and I escort her down the steps and over to my car. I open the door and she lets go of my hand and goes into the passenger's seat. I walk over to the other side of the car and get in. Then I start driving to where we are supposed to meet Silver and Blaze.

(Silver's POV)

I start driving over to Blaze's house to pick her up for the date. I arrive at her house, the only one that is purple on the block, and turn the car off. I walk up the 3 stairs that lead to her door and knock on the door. I hear the door open and look up to see Blaze in a purple dress. "Hi." I say nervously as she looks at me with a curious look.

"Hi Silver" said the purple cat as she grabs her purse and starts to walk out the door. All of a sudden, she trips and I catch her, bridal style. I carry her over to my truck, set her back down on her feet, and open the door so she can get in. I get into the driver's side and start driving to where Amy and Sonic are supposed to be. As we arrive at the restaurant, we see Sonic and Amy at the door, waiting for us to arrive, I park the truck and get out. I walk over to the other side of the vehicle and hold the door open for Blaze. She gets out and I close door, takes her hand, and start walking over to the other to. We walk inside and seat ourselves. A waitress came to our table and asked us if we would like anything to drink. We ordered our drinks and started having a conversation. Then, I heard some people arguing at a few tables away from us. I looked over and seen a fox girl storm off. Then I seen a black hedgehog with three different colored quills get up and walk over to the door, which we where seated next to. I didn't know if it's who I thought it was but I kept my mouth shut just in case it wasn't.

(??? POV)

My girlfriend stormed off because we were arguing over something stupid again. I got up and walked towards the door. Then I passed by a table with three hedgehogs and a cat. I noticed one of them, so I spoke up. "Brother, is that you?"

Silver looked up and noticed my face looking down at him. "Cosmic?!"
