Chapter 12: Drowning!

(Cosmic's POV)

A few seconds later, we arrived at the supposed hideout. We walked into the abandoned cabin and seen two people dressed in black. They pulled out guns and pointed them at us. Quick as a flash, I pulled out two throwing knives and threw them, hitting both of them in their foreheads. I walk over and pull out the knives. It was then that i noticed that there was no blood seeping from the wounds. I look closer and seen some circuitry. They were robots! As we searched through the house, I explained to Shadow that the "men" in black were actually robots.

All of a sudden, Shades said, "Over here!" We ran over to see what he had found. He pointed to a trap door that looked like it led to a basement. 

"Pandora, could you stay here and tell the G.U.N. agents where we are when they get here?"

"Yeah Cosmic! I can!" Shadow, Shades, and I nodded in reply and then went through the trap door.

"Hey, it's pretty dark down here, could you give us some light Cosmic?" I started to make myself glow so that Shades and Shadow could see. We started walking down the hall. We ran into a couple more robots but we quickly disposed of them. As we kept on walking, we started to see a room at the end of the hallway that was covered in yellow light. We walked into the room a d I stopped glowing. We looked around the room and seen a tiny doll on a chair. It was shaped like a very fat man with goggles and a brown moustache. Shadow went over and poked it. All Of a sudden, it moved. It turned its head to look at us. Then it started to speak. 

"Hello hedgehogs! It is nice to see you again Cosmic. Anyway, now that you are here, I want to let you know that your poor twin brother has only an hour to live! Tata!" The doll became silent once more as the door behind us closed. Another door opened in front of us and we decided to walk through it. We looked all around the room and noticed that there was a big digital clock on the wall counting down from the hour. Then we noticed Sonic and Blaze, who were both tied to chairs, gagged. We walked over and pulled the gags from their mouths and untied them.

"Cosmic! They have Silver!" said Blaze. Sonic was looking on the ground. I looked down too, to see what he was looking at. Water was starting to fill the room! Blaze looked down too, screamed, then jumped on top of my head, hackles raised. 

Sonic looked at her and smirked. "I am scared of water, but even I am not that scared!" We looked around trying to find any means of escape. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw two doors at the other side of the room. We had to swim over there, as the water was already chest high. I caught the others' attention, then pointed to the doors. We swam over there, and i tried to pry one of the doors open. I couldn't.  The water was now neck high. Blaze was still on my head. I swam over to the other door, the water rising above my head. I take a deep breath, submerging myself into the chlorine-filled water. I open my eyes and they start to burn. Struggling to see, I navigate over to the other door by touch. I feel around where I think the door would be and suddenly, I feel the knob! 

I open the door and all of the water drains out of the room. I look around, checking to see if my friends are okay. Blaze looks upset. I walk over to her and ask, "Are you okay?"

"No!" says Blaze. "I'm pissed! First I get captured! Now I am all wet!" I put my trenchcoat around her.

"Hey! Did anyone hear that?" asked Shades. We all look at him skeptically.

"No." We all listen closely to see if we could hear the noise." 'Whiiiiiiirrrr. Whiiiiiiirrrr.'

"Did you hear it that time?"

"Yeah." We all said. I turned around and seen another doll.

"Hey guys! Look!" It walked towards us and started to speak.

"Looks like you made it out of is one. But this next room has a 'sharp' turn. Mwahahahahahaha!" his voice echoed throughout the room. We heard a creak and turned around to find the next door has opened. We all walked towards the door, not at all excited to see what laid in store for us.
