Chapter 6

After eating breakfast with the boys, they all helped me to tidy my new apartment. Max and maxi did the dishes whilst Harrison and Ryan gathered all the blankets and glasses that the boys had used last night and tidied them away. The others helped me unpack all if my boxes. After a few hours of tidying, unboxing and decorating I was finally happy with how it looked. Actually happy was an understatement, I loved the look of my apartment. Seeing as all the boys and I had the day off we decided to do something together. In our apartment complex there was a gym and a shared pool that only people living there could access. We decided to have a gym session and then head over to the pool. It was an insanely hot day so I grabbed a pale yellow sports bra and a fresh pair of Nike Pro shorts and headed down to meet the boys in the gym. I have to admit they all looked hot. So. Very. Hot. I wasn't sure who to look at or what to do with myself. So I walked over to the speaker, connected my phone up and blasted some hype tunes. I always find it better to work out with music on, it just motivates me more.

I decided to go on one of the treadmills. Everyone had always told me I was a good runner and how I should go professional but I hated running. I may be good at it but that doesn't mean I enjoy it. I started the machine off on a slow speed and gradually built the pace up until I was fully running. After running the fastest mile that I had ever run, I decided to call it a day and come off the machine. I hadn't realised but max was running on one of the treadmills next to me and looked over to see my time "impressive" he tells me I laugh and thank him, not really taking much notice of it. We decide to end the gym sesh by having a plank off: who could hold a plank for the longest. Jethro was the judge as he had only just recovered from a dislocated shoulder and didn't want to over do it. Maxi was out first, complaining that his trainers were too slippery, causing him to fall. Harrison was then out next, followed by myself, Ryan, Lachie and Jesse. Jake and max were left. I didn't take my eyes of Jake at all. The other boys then began trying to distract Max and Jake, trying to cause them to fall. Both boys were there just in their shorts and trainers, their bodies on show. Jake's tattoos shiny from his sweat and his face beet red from the hardwork he wad giving From what I had gathered from the short time I had been working at Bondi, Max and Jake were best friends do I knew that neither would want to lose to the other. After a while max began to tire and eventually fell causing Jake to jump up and cheer. As the other boys hyped him up, I ran up to Jake giving him a massive hug and messing up his hair.

After finishing in the gym, we all went back to our rooms to change into our bathers. I pulled out my cow print bikini. It was one of my favourites. It showed off my semi-defined abs and made my tan really show. My apartment was on the top floor, opposite Max's. I walked out to be greeted by a smiling max telling me that I looked great. Me and max had always had more of a brother sister bond so I didn't have to worry about any potential relationships happening there as we'd both find it 'weird'. We went down to the pool to find the other boys already there. All the boys but Jake where in the pool. He was sat on a sun bed just off to the side. I went and put my towel down next to him and shot him a smile. I saw his eyes wander my body before he said anything "you look amazing" he said with a slight smirk on his face. I gave out a nervous giggle and replied with the classic "and you don't look to bad yourself" he laughed softly. I could feel all the other boys staring at us so grabbed Jake's hand and ran over to the pool and pulled him in. We spent the rest of the day laughing and enjoying the pool. However due to myself and some of the boys having work the next day we had to wrap it up pretty early. That was the only downside to the job, the hours were very long and often we all had work on different days so didn't always get to spend time with each other, but what time we did have together, we spent well. I was so tired after having one of the best days of my life that I had fallen asleep on one of the sun loungers that over looked the pool.

Jake's POV
After spending hours in the pool I noticed Lu get out of the pool and over to one of the sun loungers. I wanted to make sure she was alright so went over to check on her and was met with the cutest thing I'd ever seen. She was curled up in her towel fast asleep. I quietly called the boys over and we all stood there staring at her sleep (in a non creepy way). We decided to take a photo and upload it to the Bondi lifeguard Instagram with the caption 'saturdays are for sleeping' we laughed as we saw comments flood in saying things like 'awwwe how cute!' and 'we love you Lu'. It was starting to get dark and we all started heading back to our own rooms. Lu was still fast asleep so I carefully picked her up and took her back to her room. I was careful when walking up the stairs not to make any fast movements that could wake her. I opened her apartment door and placed her in her bed, pulled her blankets over her and closed her curtains. I left a note on the side which said 'you fell asleep by the pool so I carried you back, I hope you had a good night sleep and I'll see you tomorrow at work love jakey x ' hopefully she'll find it when she wakes up. Before leaving I snapped another pic of her sleeping to admire her cuteness and left her apartment, quietly shutting her door not to wake her and walked down to mine where I collapsed with tiredness in my bed. Although I couldn't sleep. All I could think about was Lu. I couldn't get her off of my mind.
