You step back a few times again.
He sits down on the floor.

You sit down, leaning against the wall.
"How long should you?-"
"we should eat every couple of days, it depends"
"I have to eat often"

"How does it depend?"
He look up at you, over his arm.
"You don't have to answer, I just want to know..." you say looking down.
He doesn't reply.
"I'm sorry, I don't want to push lines or..."
"it depends on their strength, the stronger the vampire the more they have to feed, to maintain strength"
You nod.
"Anti isn't as strong as me, he's strong but not as strong"
"that doesn't mean he couldnt kill you easily" he says, looking at you.

"Don't you eat human things then?"
"we can, but it makes us feel ill"
"what about sleep?"
"we can sleep"
"there's also one other, big thing we need to discuss so I can decide whether you are going to stay or leave"

You rest your head on his stomach.
He tenses up and holds his breath.

He just makes a grumbling sound.
"wait, did you tell me why didn't eat?"
You look up at him, he takes your arms from around him.
"because of you"
You look at him in confusion.

He goes on his knees, he was on a similar eye level to you now.
"I love you and I couldn't stop thinking about you. There was an overwhelming feeling of guilt if I killed or hurt someone who was human. It just reminded me of you"

You didn't want him to die because of you.
You walk away.
He stands up slowly.
