Guards

You link arms with him, he nods down at you and straightens upright.
"He says he wants to see you before we go" you say, as you walk past the dining hall.
"Did he say why?" He asks.
"No"
"Okay" he says, thinking.

The doors open in front of you, dark walks forward. You keep close to him, he stops a few steps after the door.
"You wanted to see me?"
"We have guards on the lookout for him"
"Thank you" dark nods.
"Do you think he is doing the same as last time?" The king asks.
"I am not sure" dark says, he didn't know for once.
"Well, would you like guards for y/n when you go into the village?"
Dark looks down at you, "yes, please"
"I don't need guards" you huff.
Dark looks back at you, coldly.
"Yes, you do"
The king leans back and smiles.
"I do not"
"y/n" he warns
"Why would I need gua-"
He pulls you to his chest and puts a hand over your mouth.
"So much to say" the king smiles, fascinated.
"Can we have guards please" dark huffs.
You put your hands, trying to pry his one hand off your face. He just uses his other hand to pull them down, holding them in front of you.
"All three will stay with her at all times" the king commands, the nod and march In sync to your side.
"Follow darks orders, as I will not be able to give you any"
You tilt your head back to look at dark, he shakes his head.
