You wait by the door for him.
As you are walking to the stairs you turn your head and look at him.
"could I see my family tomorrow?"
He looks down at you.
"Please?"
He looks ahead, his hair covers his face meaning you couldn't see if he was angry.
"We could just see if we can go out for dinner with them, they can meet you and..."
"its dangerous"
"How? My family wouldn't hurt me or you"
"you don't know who is out there y/n, plus my scent is on you. Your bloods enough to attract unwanted attention anyway...adding my scent won't help that, it will make things worse" he says firmly.
"I will be fine" you say.
He turns and stares down at you.
"No"
"Please, just this once if anything bad happens..."
"if anything bad happens we come straight home and don't go back, you understand me right?"
"Y-yes" you smile slightly.
"good" he grumbles, holding your wrist and pulling you with him to the stairs.
