I admit it;
I intentionally browser through multiple demigod stories to find covers I can rant about.
Please don't throw me to Tartarus.
Anyways...
Yes, I found more to rant about; aren't you excited? No? Never mind, then.
First;
When the author lazily took a simple, pastel coloured background and used an ugly shade for the font of the title.
Yes, I saw that. Are you even trying? I think not.
I saw this one fanfic (which is quite famous) where she (is the author a she?) picked a yellow background and simply did the title. There was no picture of Percabeth or anything related to the story.
Well, WeMetAtSix's cover for 'Caged Souls' (Leico) didn't- hey, who wrote that.
Well, at least put the an actual drawing or picture there. Even if it's only a shoe- moving on.
I saw another type of cover- this is quite common, unfortunately.
When the author uses a picture of anything demigod like then leaves it bare.
This has no title, no author's name, and nothing. Just a drawing of Percabeth kissing- whoops.
You read me right.
I saw plenty of authors doing this. Just take a drawing of the couple doing cute stuffs and whatnot and poof! - all done.
Yes, this annoys me and I don't know why.
Unless it's a really cute- I didn't write that.
*awkwardly clears throat*
Yeah, so....
Comment below what types of covers you hate most!
Ciao,
