They hung out every morning.

Just around a half an hour.

They talked.

They became comfortable around each other again.

Beginning to get really comfortable.

Hugging more apparent.

You'd say that they were really close friends.

I mean, you could.

But after the attachment that Murdoc has gotten on Stuart.

He didn't want it that way.

Stuart on the other hand didn't really know how he felt.

Just warm and numb.

He'd laugh a lot.

And still be giggly when he got home.

Which his mom was a little surprised.

As never seen her son act like this.

She decided to ask about it.

She knocked on his door and waited a few seconds before coming in.

"Hey." She said.

"Hello." Stuart replied.

She walked forward and sat on his bed.

"I've noticed you've been extremely energized and happy. What did you do?"

Stuart was quiet.

His eyes dodged.

"Well, I guess it was the mental place..." He laughed uncomfortably.

She frowned.

"You didn't act like this when you got out, or else that would make sense."

He shuffled his legs.

"I mean, I found my old journal that they asked me to keep, and it reminded me again. So, I started doing what they taught me and I feel better." He lied.

He smiled lightly.

She stared at him for a solid moment.

"Okay, I just wanted to say that I'm proud of you and it makes me happy seeing you like this." She said.

He smiled.

Genuinely.

"Thanks, mom."

She nodded before leaving his room.

She didn't exactly believe him.

But at least he was in a better mood and looked better, that's all that mattered to her.

Murdoc went walking again.

He took a different route this time.

One that looked a little hazardous, where you could get lost easily.

He shrugged and kept going.

He brushed past the sharp bushes.

The path was relatively dark.

His anxiety vaguely seemed to affect him.

He didn't like being in a dark place.

Where he didn't know where everything is.

Or everyone.

He found a small bit of light.
