(Next day)
*Bell rings*
THANK FUCKING GOD! Chemistry is a pain in the ass.
Finally it was lunch, Me and my friends always go off campus for lunch. We went to our favorite 90s diner, 'Shake Shake Shake.'
I know its sounds like a strip club or something like but, there milkshakes are the best.
I walked out to the parking lot where we always meet up.
Lucas: "what's up Y/N."
I chuckled "The sky, you dumbass"
That's Lucas he's like my brother, he's just a tall cocky douche bag but, he's chill.
We both walked toward the rest of our friends
As Kait turned around she saw us and yelled "MONI BROUGHT VODKA! YOU GUYS WANT SOME!"
Lucas laughed as we walked closer to them
"You know we're on school property right?" I said confused
That's Kait. Her and Moni are the party animals of the group, they always bring the alcohol.
"So Y'all ready to go?" Adrian asked
Devyn rolled her eyes
"No, I have to grab my dab pen." She said sarcastically
Adrian looked confused
"But you don't have a dab pen"
I sighed
"She was being sarcastic stupid, can we go now"
Adrian thought about it for a second
"Ohhhh.. Yeah let's go."
Devyn and Adrian have a thing for each but we don't talk about it, it's because they both deny that they like eachother.
As I walked to my car, I caught Ryder turning his head to look at me from the corner of my eye, I turned my head and looked at him for a second as I got in my car.
What a weirdo
The diner was only 5 minutes away and I was STARVING. I stopped at a red light, I heard a honk next to me, I looked at the car. It was Shane. He smirked at me and revves his engine. I smirk at him and start to revve my engine.
The light turned green. We both went full speed, cruising through the empty streets hoping not to be caught by the police, or snitched on.
Shane ended up winning, and it's all because he had a faster car than a Audi.
We parked and walked in front of the diner, waiting for everyone to show up.
Shane cleared his throat
"So how did lacrosse go?"
I rolled my eyes
"Decent"
He looked at me with his eyebrows up, like he know I was lying
"You sure about that?" He questioned me
He pulled out his vape from his pocket, hit it once and then handed it to me.
As I blew out the smoke I coughed and said
"No" Adrian's car pulled up, along with everyone elses
Shane's the one that reads everyone, he knows how to look through someone and see there true colors within a few minutes of talking to them. And the fact that Lucas and Shane are brothers but are COMPLETELY different from each is so weird.
We all walked into the diner, and sat at a random table, we ordered the usual, tater tots and milkshakes.
Everyone drank their milkshakes as Adrian pointed at the T.V. The reporter talked about the crazy protests going on all over America.
Devyn gasped "Damn thats crazy"
The news reporter had mentioned that there would be a protest in Seattle I kinda wanted to go but I guess it would be dangerous.
Lucas's eyes widened
"No one deserves to die like George floyd"
I agreed
"He didn't do shit I wanna know if this cops would like if a kneeled on his neck because of his skin color." Shane exclaimed
"This is some bullshit! And most black people are already scared for their lives when they see the police! And it 2020 and they still killing people!" Moni said agitated
I sighed as I continue to eat my tater tots.
Everyone else ended up leaving due to College, homework etc. But Devyn, Lucas, and me had nothing to do so we decided to head back to Devyn's house and chill.
We sat in Devyn's livingroom and watched the news, we were on our phones when Lucas got a text message
Lucas stood up and sighed
"I gotta go, see you guys tomorrow."
After lucas left, Me and Devyn talk more about the protests in seattle in a few days
Devyn squinted at her phone, then looked at me
"Dude we should go to the protests in downtown Seattle"
"Maybe, we could" I said hesitantly
She smiled and tilted her head
"Its would be hella fun" she said cheerfully
I thought about it for a second, It would be pretty cool to be honest
I raised my eyebrows
"I'll think about it"
My mom texted me, I stood up
Devyn looked confused
"Where you going?"
I cleared my throat
"My mom texted me to come home, I'll see you tomorrow."
As I drove home I couldn't help but notice how pretty the sunset was.
As soon as I walked in my house, I walked upstairs, threw my bag on my bed and went straight into the bathroom to take a hot shower.
After showering I turned on my T.v and laided in bed on scrolling through twitter when something on Tv Caught my eye, it was someone wearing a black hoodie, and a guy fawke mask he sounded like a guy, but I couldn't tell because they had a voice filter. "We are legion, expect us."
"Wait, what the fuck.."
