Chapter 12

Ryder took one step closer..

Suddenly my phone started to ring

He cleared his throat

"Are you gonna get that?"

I pulled my phone out of my pocket.

He sighed then turned to look at the view again before looking back at me.

"I'll see you around."

he walked away. he turned to look at me one more time and lightly smiled, then he continued to walk away.

Looking back at my phone tried to think of who's number it was. It didn't seem familiar so just answered it.

"Who is this?"

In a cheerful voice my FATHER said

"Hey it's Dad, I'm coming to see you guys for Archers birthday"

My blood boiled I was so angry. He left 14 years ago and now he's coming back?

I sharply sighed "why?"

"Because I haven't seen you guys in so long I miss you!"

I cleared my throat "ok?"

"See you in a bit!"

I quickly hung up and went back home. Walking into the house I slammed the front door shut and went straight to my mom who was in the kitchen making dinner.

She looked concerned "you okay?"

I snapped "why is he coming back after 14 years"

She sighed "he's here to see Archer"

I sat on the couch

"but why now Archer's turning 15 and me and Alex are in college"

She shrugged

"I don't know but please be nice for Archer"

I rolled my eyes "fine"

I went up stairs to my room and jumped on my bed with my face in my pillow and I closed my eyes.

What the hell just happened. We almost kissed. My DAD is visiting here for god knows how long, fun time to play happy family.

Tomorrow We're going on a family dinner in vashon island where my grandparents live for Archers birthday, Which is gonna be just great I love my toxic dad. Fucking bitch.

I got up and opened my nightstand drawer rummaging through my stuff, I finally found it. My dad always was a sexist motherfucker and never liked girls wearing "Too much" makeup or revealing clothing.

I went in my closet and grabbed my most fancy outfit which wasn't even a dress. It was a silk, pastell purple 2 piece set.

The top was cropped, low cut, and had a ribbon in the back that came to the front tied up into a bow knot right above my belly button, the top it self was a few inch above the bow.

The pants were high waisted and were like bell bottoms, they were really comfortable and soft.

I wore a thic gold choker like chain and gold hoops. For my makeup I did a sharp wing eyeliner I added bright, shiny glitter that I found in my night stand drawer under my eyes too give that euphoria look.

I went in my bathroom to fix my hair. I tucked two strands of hair behind my ear and put on mascara, grabbed my bag and went downstairs

My mom took a quick look at me then turned to look me again.
