"so, where are we going?" daniel asked, sitting in the back seat while shifting around. he had been in the seat for a while.

"i told you dani," jack laughed at his impatience. "a casual lunch restaurant to meet a friend." jack shrugged as he pressed his foot the brake, making a stop at light.

"yes i know. but, you never said what restaurant, what friend, and why it's so far." daniel whined, leaning forward in his chair.

jack playfully rolled his eyes, grabbing zach's hand softly. zach smiled a small blush forming on his cheeks, watching as jack prepared to speak again.

"it's panera, and it's a new friend who just moved to town. he staying at a hotel in a distance while his house is getting ready. i told him i would meet him half way." jack explained.

"so how much longer?" daniel let out a groan. when he agreed to lunch, he expected food quickly.

"we should be there soon," zach mumbled smally. "the area we are in looks familiar." zach finished, looking around the area, picking at his nails with his free hand.

"thanks zach," daniel said with a small smile, zach returning it delightfully. "you're welcome."

thankfully, zach was correct. in less than 10 minutes, the small group of boys arrived at panera; exiting jack's car and walking into the small restuarnat as the calmly aromua of fresh food filled their noses.

"i know what zach wants, what do you want dani?" jack spoke, pointing towards daniel as he lightly swung his other hand in zach's.

"m' i don't know." daniel hummed, his eyes traveling around. "maybe just a turkey sandwhich and a bread bowl of broccoli cheddar cheese soup." daniel shrugged lightly, jack nodding his head.

"ok, me and zach will go order. can you find a table?" jack asked softly, daniel nodding with slight smile; turning on his heels to find a table for four.

he quickly found one by a window that had the light shining on the table; four chairs seated around the small table. he thought it was nice spot to eat and wait patiently.

"hi, um i'm here to have lunch jack avery and his friends. do you know where they would be." the boy tapped on daniel's shoulder, biting back his lip to contain a smile.

a smile formed on daniel's face from the words turning around to meet the boy's face. "yeah, actually right her-" daniel stopped himself, taking a better look at the boy.

"corbyn?" daniel spoke slightly excited, a larger smile forming on his face. "that would be my name." the blonder boy spoke, his perfect teeth shining with a smile.

"oh my gosh, corbyn!" daniel exclaimed, jumping up to hug the elder.

corbyn laughed, his eyes closing happily as he hugged daniel tightly by the waist. "hey dani," he used the familiar nickname.

"oh gosh, it's been so long. how have you been. i haven't seen you since middle school when you moved." daniel spoke at the rememberance.

"it's been good. washington is nice." corbyn replied moving to take a seat next to daniel.

"you look so different." daniel spoke, admiring. he remembered in middle school his small crush on corbyn even though they were best friends. corbyn was attractive in middle school, and now; he was over the moon stunning.

"you're one to talk." corbyn chuckled, eyeing daniel up and down. "you look great though." corbyn added with a smile.

"suprise," daniel heard the soft voice of jack from the distance, the two laughing, jack and zach soon sitting down.

"well let's catch up, shall we?" jack spoke with a small giggle, everyone nodding in agreement.
