daniel smiled as he walked up to his locker, adjusting his backpack on his shoulder while he played the lock. it was monday and he had a great weekend. jonah and him basically spent the weekend making love and he really enjoyed himself. his friends constantly made comments about daniel falling for the other which he would repeatedly deny, but he would admit that jonah had changed a lot since their 'first' encounter.

when the locker clicked, he opened and grabbed what he needed before shutting the metal door. he glanced around the hall, noticing as it was pretty much empty now. he was just prepared to get home leaving him to walk towards the doors of the school.

he went out the back leaving as his car was in the back parking lot. he walked slowly being mostly carefully though not too careful as he ended up tripping slightly over the start of a sidewalk he didn't even noticed. he rolled his eyes at himself as he had dropped his books, leaning down in a small squat to pick up his books.

"well look who it is," daniel heard a sarcastically cheery voice above him.

he glanced up, just to see boys from the football team whom he hadn't seen in forever. he was sure he could thank jonah for that because he hadn't been harrased by then in so long.

"can you just leave me alone," the blonde spoke quietly. he leaned down again to pick up his stuff before it was kicked to the side. he pouted looking up at the boy who had a sarcastic smirk on his face. "whoops."

daniel sighed, leaming to the skde to pick up the books before he was kicked in the stomach. he gasped in pain as he fell to his back, holding his hand over the spot on his ribs. the kick had knocked the air out of him, making him having trouble breathing.

"not so much to say now do you, seavey?"

he whimpered in pain trying to sit up before he was kicked again, this time more harsh. "why won't you just leave me alone?" he gasped in pain. surely there would be a bruise on his rib.

"because, seavey;"

"you don't belong here with your little gay boy attitude." a kick to his leg.

"you," a kick to his stomach.

"need to know," a kick to his shoulder.

"that you don't belong here, no one like you." another painful kick to his ribs.

the broad-bodied boy leaned down to daniel, whispering in his face. "you need to be put in your place." a punch to his face and daniel felt like passing out.

he could here the faint laughs of them becoming more distance in the time. he couldn't tell if it was because he was close to passing out or because they were getting further away.

"hey, what're you guys doing?" daniel heard the familiar voice of jonah along with his footsteps.

"just putting this little faggot in place." he sputtered.

jonah tried to not show emotion as he looked down at daniel who was now curled in a ball with his things scattered around him.

"why don't you guys get to practice, you don't want to be late." the tall brunette spoke darkly though the only emotion was at annoyance and anger of his teammates.

"and what about you marais?" the blonde bully said doubting jonah. "you defending him?"

"no," he lied with a heavy swallow. "i'll finish him off. coach loves me, he won't be mad if i'm late." he fibbed and excuse.

the boy nodded, giving jonah a quick handshake before him the others who were there were out of distance. as soon as they were, he leaned down to daniel's place, trying to hold the blonde in his arms.

"dani? dani, stay with me." jonah spoke in a whisper, caressing his face.

daniel whimpered, his eyes opening show a dull grey color that were once a bright blue. jonah frowned, holding the boy and moving him slowly to not hurt him more.

"gosh, i'm so sorry dani." he shook his head, he promised he would prevent this from happening and he hated breaking his promises.

daniel chuckled emotionlessly. "it was bound to happen, life was way too good."

jonah sighed, leaning down to press a delicate kiss to the blonde's haste lips. daniel smiled into it, kiss him back. though he didn't know what it was for, he kissed back anyway. daniel was definitely falling for jonah and jonah was definitely whipped for daniel.

"let me take you home." and thats just what jonah did, he lifted him to his car, and took him home.
