Different eyes, different days and different emotions.
I usually stared into his dark chocolate brown eyes, shining and glowing whenever the bright sunlight reflected on his eyes. They were my escape. He had beautiful eyes, but the pain he carried in his heart reflected through them. I wanted to heal his sorrowful heart. There was this girl I admired the most. Her green eyes which were greener than the pigmentation in plants were full of life's wonders. She was an intellectual who was always wondering about her purpose and destiny. She believed in the Universe and the power of magic. Reality was an illusion in her life. Her imagination ran wild, but society was against her. I was a part of the society, which believed that your imagination should die as you get grey wires on your head.
Another boy was sitting in the corner of the classroom, all alone . His deep ocean blue eyes which stared at me sent a shiver down my spine. He was introverted and ice cold, just like his eyes. I took a seat next to him and he glared at me.
The teacher was seated at the table with her exhausted looking eyes. I swiftly noticed the dark circles around her eyes. I felt sorry for her, as I could not help her.
What have I learnt about the eyes that stare at me as I stare back?
Eyes are the heart's windows, they show your true emotions, no matter how much you try to hide them.
What did my eyes show?
How could I see my true emotions?
My eyes showed them what I felt in my heart at that moment. I cannot see the reflection of my eyes in the mirror, but I can feel my heart beating day by day.My name is Aurora and I had only imagined these people. I cannot see - I am blind, but I can feel what is in a person's heart as I feel their presence awakening my senses.
The eyes that stare at me are only those of your heart.
Now open your heart.
