{TW: Sexual Abuse/Rape }
Life as you knew it, was over. There was no hope for you in sight, or so you told yourself. You had lost this battle and deep down you knew you weren't going to win in the first place. Hope for a brighter future was the only thing that kept you going. But now all was lost. You were chained down like a dog. Dino didn't go back on his promise, he never did. He is a man of his word.
Right after you were dragged out of that office you found yourself in another room. It was a bedroom, small, closed shaded windows, a bathroom, an empty dresser and against the wall on the other side of the room was an acoustic guitar. Was this some kind of gift? You thought to yourself. Your voice was just as precious as your body. The men who carried you there shoved you into the room and you stumbled onto the ground, knocking over a lamp on the end table behind you. They locked the door from the outside, leaving you barricaded inside. You cursed under your breathe and got to your feet. You turned to the window behind you and looked outside. The sun was setting over the city. You were in a part of the city that was far from home. Far from where Ash and Eiji were. You hoped and prayed that they wouldn't come for you. It'd be the death of them.
The silence of the room was overwhelming. Even the sounds of the city outside were dulled by the nearly sound proof walls. Your mind was racing, you just stood by the window, staring out into nothingness as your mind wandered. You hoped Ash and Eiji were okay. You wondered what they were up to. This thought brought you back to a distant memory of one of your first encounters with Ash Lynx.
{ Flash back to 5 years ago }
At this point and time you and Ash resided inside Dino's mansion. Ash lived on a different level from you and you didn't know what room he was in exactly. No one wanted you to know in the first place. Two smart kids teaming up to escape would be dangerous. So your interactions with Ash were limited. You weren't even sure if he knew your name.
Your piano class just ended and you were heading back towards your room when you hear a soft cry. It was barely audible but you could tell where it was coming from. You went on high alert as you followed the sound, making sure none of Dino's men noticed how suspicious you were being. You managed to tip toe your way down an unfamiliar hallway. At the end of the hall was a room with the door opened just a crack. You were hesitant for a moment but your proceeded towards it. You peered through the small crack in the door and your eyes widened.
Inside sat a young blonde boy. His teary, green eyes were puffy from crying. He looked pretty disheveled. He had a bruise on his cheek, some dried blood on his lip and his clothing, which was just an over-sized white tee shirt, was extremely wrinkled. You knew what had transpired. This place was hell on earth. You should have just walked away at this point but you didn't. You opened the door and walked inside. The young boy flinched as you entered, his eyes widened with fear, not knowing who had entered. Once he recognized you, his expression softened a bit. He quickly wiped his eyes and tried to compose himself.
"You really shouldn't be here you know..." He said in a low whisper to you. You simply rolled your eyes and walked into the adjacent bathroom. You grabbed a wash cloth and dampened it in the sink. You returned to Ash and sat down next to him on the bed. "What are you---" Ash began but you cut him off. "Just--stay quiet.." You mumbled to him. You gently wiped the dried blood on his lip, it revealed a cut. Ash hissed and winced in pain. This made you frown. "Sorry..." you said. As you were cleaning him up you really noticed how beat to hell he was. His wrists were bruised with obvious finger marks. Something that was all too familiar to you. Once you were finished you got up. "We'll get out of here..." Ash said softly. You turned back to him and he had this intense look on his face. His eyes were wide, his jaw was tightly clenched and his fingers gripped the bed sheets to tight that his knuckles were white. You didn't say anything, you hear a voice approaching the room and you ran out before anyone could see you.
{ Back to present }
This moment stuck with you for a long time. Because you both did eventually escape, just not together. And now you're back at square one. Ash was free and you were yet again, an animal in a cage. As time progressed in that room, a few maids came in to provide you with a few pairs of clothing, nothing fancy just a dress, and a shirt and a pair of pants, some food, a tray of soup, some salad and a glass of water. It just sat on top of the dresser untouched. You had no appetite. Night came rather quickly and your mind slowly snapped back into reality. Your day dreaming came to a halt when your door unlocked once again and someone stepped inside. A familiar someone who you haven't seen in a long time.
"Wow...I can't say I'm surprised to see you. I thought you'd leave town the second you got out of here." A man said as he entered the room and closed the door behind him. "Either you're an idiot or there's a good reason why you can't leave. Either way.. I don't care." You're eyes widened as soon as you realized who this was. His name is Brian. Brian was roughly six feet tall, short buzzcut, fit, a military man. He's been one of Dino's subordinates for as long as you could remember. Your past with him with anything but pleasant. He was cruel, selfish and above all, insane. "Papa almost didn't let me in here..." He began as he looked around the small room. "I guess he was afraid of what I might do to you... or rather, what you might do to me." He turns towards you with seriousness.
