Esmè groaned to herself as she woke up. She could feel her hangover hit her, she sat up and frowned as she realised that she was naked. She looked to see Simon and groaned as she remembered how they had slept together.

Esmè knew that it shouldn't of happened but she did have a good time, Esmè knew it was to soon for her to be with someone else. She was still so hurt over Tom and what he had done to her. Her heart was still so shattered after what he had done. Esmè stood from the bed and sighed as she walked down into the kitchen and made a coffee. She looked to her phone and saw a missed call off of Steph.

Esmè knew she meant to go and pick up Abigail soon but she just couldn't face it, she saw Simon as he walked into the kitchen. He looked right Esmè and smiled

"last night was fun, I have to go though I am starting my new job" Simon said as Esmè looked to him and smiled

"not to worry, I have to pick up my daughter from my mum then go to work. I don't know what last night was but my heart was broken by my ex and it was a it or a fun but I am still hurt by him and I'm not ready for something serious" Esmè said

Simon looked to her and smiled "don't worry, I have been feeling the same, my wife cheated on me with my best friend" Simon said as Esmè smiled

"I'm sorry, the father of my child cheated and i thought I meant more to him but I guess not" Esmè said as Simon looked to her and smiled

"I'm sorry about that, I don't see why anyone would cheat on you I mean look at you, you are stunning" Simon said as Esmè looked to him and smiled, she knew Simon was a nice guy but she still felt guilty for sleep not with him over what had happened

"its a shame he didn't think that, you don't need to stay that though I mean I have already slept with you" Esmè said as Simon looked to her and smiled.

"I mean it, I have to go but maybe give me a call some time" Simon said as he left her his number. Esmè looked to Simon and smiled as he walked off. She knew he was a good guy but she knew that deep down that she was hurt and angry over what Tom did and part of her was still in love with him and she hated to but she knew that she would have to try and find a way to move on from Tom and be happy again

Esme stood in the staffroom with Mia. Mia looked to her and smiled "so what did you get up to last night?" Mia asked "nothing I don't know what you mean" Esme said as Mia looked to her and smirked

"of course you don't" Mia said as she took a sip of her coffee as the door opened as Rachel walked in. Esme choked on her coffee as she saw Simon. Simon and Esme made eye contact and paled "everyone this is Simon lowsley, he is the new deputy head" Rachel said as she introduced Simon as Simon and esme held eye contact.

They both felt awkward knowing that they had spent the night together the night before. She looked to see Simon and sighed as he walked over to Esmè and smiled "can we talk?" He asked as Esmè nodded

"I didn't know that you worked here" Simon asked as Esmè looked to him and smiled

"well we didn't do much talking did we?" Esmè said as Simon looked to her and nodded

"look you don't need to worry last night was fun but it was a mistake and I won't be telling anyone" Esmè said as she glanced across the staffroom and sighed as she saw Tom

"I'll see you around" Esmè said as she walked off not wanting to face Tom right now

Esmè stood in the car park as she told Mia over her and Simon. "I can't believe it, your first hook up after your break up and it's what would you call him your new boss"

"technically he's not my boss but tell me about it" Esmè said. Esmè frowned to herself as she looked t took and davina as they walked out of the school together.

Esmè watched him as he leant in and kissed her. She felt her heart shatter as she watched him as he makes on, moved on with the woman he had cheated with who he had said was a mistake.

Esmè knew she was heartbroken, complete heartbroken.
