A/N: I edited a bit again and added this separately to the year and a half ago. Still the same words.

Before we begin, let me introduce myself. My name is Natalie, my friends are allowed to call me Nat and unfortunately, my family calls me Tillie. I attend Howard Patterson Academy. Yes, it appears to be a fancy prep school and for most of the attendees, it is. But for the select group of us who get to move on to attend Senior year, it is a private training facility for young agents. I honestly don't know what we are being trained for. They, the teachers of the school, are vague when it comes to giving us answers about what we are training to be.

There are rumors going around that we are being trained to work for the FBI, the CIA, or other law enforcement opportunities. There are also rumors that our school was founded as a recruitment ground for an organization called The Echelon. The Echelon was created to employ a private group of highly trained people who work outside of the law, with certain skill sets to obtain information, stop terrorists, etc. basically everything the CIA and FBI and those people do, just with little fewer rules about how they can go about their business.

Of course, if there is a good group of less-than-law-abiding citizens, there is also a group of people who do everything for the wrong reasons. The story is that these two groups used to be joined as one force but the leaders had a few disagreements and everyone chose sides. Those who chose to leave The Echelon were labeled as traitors. The traitors went on to rename themselves but no one has mentioned a name. Some people have ideas of what it could be but usually they are wrong or they believe the group disbanded. It is also rumored that, although the academy is supposed to recruit through legal means, there are still traitors among the staff who convince students to join them.

Okay, that is a lot of information to take in on one sitting so if something else comes up that I need to explain, I will. But for now, let me take you back to my junior year. Last year, I was a junior in high school. My parents sent me off to the academy and kept my sister at home. Emily, my little sister, was going into her freshman year of high school and we were excited to be in school together. Then my parents shipped me off to the academy. I know the academy should be capitalized but this place is hell. I will elaborate more on that later. Instead of telling you what happened my junior year, my first year at the academy, it might be easier to just show you. So, let's go back in time. About a year and a half ago.
