The Quest to the Boys'

Chapter 6 : Adjusting

I kept on looking at the window thinking about what is happening in the girls' side.

"Mr. Mishima!", the teacher angrily called.

I stood up.

"Uhmm, yes miss I-I-I mean sir?", I nervously replied.

"Were you even listening!?", Mr. Hinata grunted then I retreated my head covered by my arms.

"Uhhh, hey are you okay?", a boy by my right worried.

"Where are you getting to, Mr. Mishima?", Mr. Hinata angrily asked.

"I-I'm s-s-sorry, please don't do anything to me!", I cried.

"Okay, okay, Mr. Mishima, I'll let you go off the hook but next time, I will not! Take your seat.", he demanded.

"What was that about?", the boys in the class mumbled.

Man, at that time I was petrified and felt like almost dying. You see, I was never shouted at before so, that's how I reacted.

One thing that's odd though. Its just that, I'm just the one who sits with my knees joined together or closed while the boys here sit with knees that are far away from one another! How odd.

Well, since I'm a boy now, probably I'll try making my knees split while sitting.

That felt uncomfortable and strange for me, its like I don't have manners as a girl.

Its lunch time now and I needed to excrete so I went to the only restrooms that I know which is whithin the meeting point.

I went straight to the girls' restroom as I used to but, as I get there, I remembered that I'm a boy but then, before I went out, I was too late because Yuri met me.

"Aghhhh...", she shouted but I prevented her mouth from emmiting sound. I immediately drove her to the gazebo outside.

After we went outside, I uncovered her mouth but she fought by hitting me with her hands shaped into fists hitting me with it by the below part of the fist.

"*shush*, please listen Yuri!", I convinced her while silencing her at the same time.

"Get off me first!", she said.

"Please listen, I won't hurt you, because I'm your friend!", I convinced her.

"Wait, I don't have a friend who is a boy", she said.

"I'm Ruka! Ruka Mishima!", I told her.

"What! Wait, that explains why Ruka never showed up this morning", she surprisingly realized.

"Yes! Jane did this to me!"

"Wait! The student council president?!"

"Yes!"

"I'm still quite confused! How did she turn you to a boy?", she asked then sat.

"I still don't know how but, as far as I can remember, she made me lye down on a bed and the next I remembered, I was a boy already", I narrated.

"I knew she was evil! But wait, why did she do that anyway and why did you agree?", she asked.

"Well the reason why is still unknown but, I only agreed quite accidentally when she said she'll pay for all my expenses for a year", I explained.

"So where have you been after that crazy accident?", she asked.

"Well, she... Uhmm, enrolled me to the boys' side already", I embarrassedly said.

"What?! So, does that mean you can't go back to us?", she sadly asked.

"I'm afraid yes", I said then she cried. I patted her back and said;

"Its okay, we'll just, uhmm... we'll, set this as a meeting place then", I proposed.

"Oh, and tomorrow, the same time, bring Saki with you, please", I asked nicely.

"Sure, should I explain it to her as soon as we meet", she said.

"Uhmm... no, I'll explain it myself and also try to explain it little by little, okay?", I said.

"Okay...", she said and was cut by a rumbling sound.

"Yuri, I think you're hungry, I'll treat you lunch, what do you say?", I proposed with the accent of a guy asking a girl on a date.

"Uhmm, I prefer no, I wouldn't want people to think maliciously about us when they see us", she said.

"Oh, sorry", I said and bowed down.

"Speaking of which, you are kind of dreamy, for a girl who became a boy", she said.

"L-lets skip that, I wouldn't want to talk about it, I'm still a girl you know", I said.

"Kumenasai", she apologized then we both laughed like two school girls.

"Wait, I have to go, I'm hungry", I said.

"Oh, okay, I'll go as well", she said then we walked away.

I immediately get my lunch and ate it.
