Beep!! Beep!!
You groaned and rolled onto your back. You always hated that alarm, it was too loud. You looked next to you and saw that (F/n) wasn't there anymore. Did she leave? You couldn't remember hearing the window open or feeling her get out of bed. Usually she stays the night and wakes up after you so you two can go to school together, so her not being next to you was out of the ordinary. You just assumed she had an emergency or something. You grabbed your blankets and pulled them off of you swinging your feet to touch the ground. You hit your alarm clock to get it to shut up. You hit it once, twice, three times, fo- nope only three times. When you hit it the final time, you realized that your alarm clock looked different. Then you realized that your bed also looked different. You looked around your room and panicked when realization hit you.
"This isn't my room" You thought to yourself. Instead of your usual more western style bedroom, everything in this new room resembled a Japanese bedroom. You went to rub your forehead but winced as you felt the bruise that (F/n) had given you.
"That brat." You thought, "I'll have to yell at her the next time I see her." You ran into the bathroom to see yourself in the mirror. "Yikes, that's a nasty bruise." You sighed but jumped back when you took in your whole reflection. Your eyes looked bigger and the rest of your face looked almost cartoonish. For the second time in less than five minutes, realization hit you.
You, (Y/n) (L/n), had become an anime character.
After the initial shock had worn off, you felt a smile growing on your face. Why? Well, judging by your appearance you resembled none other than a Haikyuu!! character. You grabbed your hand and smiled when you felt the ring from last night. Your dream had come true. You were actually living in the same world as your favorite characters. You fell to your knees and held your head in your hands. You couldn't believe it. How did the magic ring actually work? You had so many questions, but no answers. The only question that was answered was why your room was different. Haikyuu takes place in Japan, so of course you would have to be living there too. You smiled again, this was so crazy.
As you were standing up you heard your parents talking downstair, so you started to make your way to the kitchen. You pulled the ends of your sweatshirt over your hands and went to see what they were talking about. As you walked in they stopped talking and smiled at you.
"Good morning, (Y/n)! How did you sleep?" Your mother asked.
"Pretty good, thank you." You replied. You went to grab cereal from the cupboard, but stopped when you saw your parents looking at you. "What's wrong? Is there something on my face?"
Your parents laughed and looked at each other. Your father spoke first. "So I know that our move to Japan was very unexpected and it happened very fast. Well, your mother and I realized that we didn't even tell you what school you were going to!"
You gave a soft smile. "Okay," You thought "Just play along with that they're saying." "Oh yeah! That would be useful to know."
"Well, because of the exams that you took back home we were able to enroll you into a school in Miyagi. So you're going to..."
You weren't really listening to your dad. You could barely contain your excitement! You could be able to go to Karasuno and meet their team! Or maybe you'd end up going to Aoba Johsai! Johzenji could be cool too! But out of all the schools in Miyagi your least favorite would probably have to be-
