They said butterflies in your stomach was the weirdest thing you would ever feel in this whole goddamn world, and I guess that was true. I don't really believe in magic, not until I saw him. Love, at first sight, is too cliche, but you took my breath away. You would be my, probably, the one that got away. 

A month has gone by since that two-day beach vacation of the group. We had so much fun that night. Couples had the time of their own they always wanted, we are so much busy with our studies because college life is waving at us. A new year has come, a new life for us, a new way of living, but will never ever forget what have we learned the previous year. New friends have come that's why we are getting bigger and bigger. 

Today is January 6, the start of classes, yet may naisipang kalokohan si Lucas kaya sinundo n'ya ako sa klase ko kaninang nag-uwian kami. It is Thursday today and our class ended a while ago. Lucas drove me all away from the city that's why it is almost 3 o 'clock in the afternoon. We bought snacks before going to this- freaking cliff. Dinala n'ya ako sa mapunong lugar, naglakad-lakad kami hanggang sa marating namin ito. Dadalhin n'ya lang pala ako sa isang lintek na talampas?! Minadali n'ya pa ako kanina. Ganito ba ang panliligaw ngayon?! Goodness, gracious. Ano na naman kaya ang balak nito? 

"Are you sure that we are going to climb that freaking cliff?! Nasiraan ka na ba ng ulo?" Tanong ko sa kanya, wala na yatang magawa sa buhay 'tong lalaking 'to. I am expecting romance stuff! Hindi 'yong papahirapan n'ya ako, Mahal na birhen!

"Probably," He shrugged his shoulders. "And I will not ask you to be with me here, Heather, if I am not prepared with this." He winked at me.

Napatuon din ang aking atensyon sa bagay na tinignan niya, It was a harness hooked at the top of the cliff. Okay, he won. I just rolled my eyes in frustration. I am not ready for this kind of stuff, buti na lang we do not have a school uniform kaya nakacivillian ako. I am wearing navy green cargo pants and a white tank top, while Lucas is wearing black sweat pants and a white shirt.  Ang daming paandar ng lalaking 'to. 

"Oh really? Good thing naisipan mo 'yon." I said sarcastically.

"I will take that as an absolute yes. Here's the mechanics-"

"What the hell? Fucking- what?!"

"We are going to climb this cliff. Bago ka mahila pataas ng taong in-assign ko doon kailangan mo munang masagot 'yung mga tanong na naisipan ko, ganoon din sa akin, likewise."

"This will be a 'Getting to know each other', Heather." dugtong n'ya.

Hindi n'ya yata nainom ang gamot n'ya kaya nasiraan na siya ng bait. Ang corny ha, pero sige sakyan natin. Let's see if we will be able to get to know each other after this effort kuno of his.

"Getting to know Lucas Arctander, huh?" I smirked with what he has thought.

"Yes, getting to know Maeve Heather."

He shrugged his shoulders with a smile on his face.
