ROSIE POV

I never got a wink of sleep last night, not until four in the morning. Ace and i were ordered to take our house back to the dungeons and we gladly did so, we haven't talked about our conversation last night and i was fine with that.

"Right everyone, go to your dormatories and get ready for a normal school day, do not fall asleep I will be doing rounds to make sure you are awake, breakfast will start in ten minuets, then off to classes." I shouted across the common room, there were a few muffled groans and complaints about having a 'normal school day'.

I went to the prefect bathroom and turned on the hot shower, trying to get Ace's words out of my head. 'I can't bare to see you hurt anymore' echoed in the back of my mind.

FREDS POV

I was sitting in the Gryffindor common room with my brother, Lee, Angelina and Katie, lost in my own thoughts, staring at the fire.

"Fred, Fred, FRED!" Angelina shouted, it made me flinch.

"Yes?"

"A little birdie told me that a certain fourth year Hufflepuff girl has a thing for you." Katie smirked at me, i was uninterested and shrugged.

"Ohh leave the poor sod alone, he's just in a huff because he can't get that Slytherin girl, been hung up on it for days now." George said, and was quickly greeted with a slap on the arm from me.

"Who? Rosie, Anna's friend?" Lee asked, i stayed silent, Angelina was growing impatient with this conversation.

"She's trouble, Fred her father is powerful, some people say that he's more powerful than the Minister himself, not to mention how incredibly spoilt she is, not afraid to show it too, she's basically a walking talking money stack. And Merlin knows what happened to her Mother and sister, I say the Father killed them, probably deserved it though. You best stay clear of that one Freddie.." I thought about Angelina and what she said, did they really think that she had it so easy? I was begining to grow angry with her words and thankfully Katie spoke.

"But i wouldn't waste your time Fred, no one can snag her, not even Diggory and he's been trying for months it seems, she barely lets anyone talk to her." Katie said with smirk at the end.

"I heard her talking with Knox last night, he told her that one of us or Diggory is going to get her, she sounded defensive when he mentioned you my dear Freddie, something about fate?." George butted in. 

I raised my head followed by my eyebrows, "You really think i cant get her to fall for me?" I turned to face Katie "I am a pure ladies man, everyone is attracted to me." I said confidently, and then instantly regretted it.

"Alright then if you're so confident, we'll make a bet. I bet ten galleons for you to make her fall in love with you, the rules are simple, she has to make all the first moves besides you asking her out, and she has to admit her feelings for you. Then you just drop her. It's easy, i know for a fact you won't catch feelings for the sad excuse of a girl." Ange finished her sentence.

"We could really use the money, Fred, think about the joke shop." George looked at me sympathetically.

"You won't fall for her, will you?" Lee asked with nervous grin, Angelina looked super worried.

"Oh for Merlin's sake, no! I'll take the bet, you are now ten galleons poor my dear Ange."

The days dragged on, Potions, Charms, Muggle studies, DADA, History of magic, repeat. I had talked to Cedric mainly about Transfig homework but nothing else.
