I make an attempt to leave but he holds my wrist.

'Look I just wanna talk.'

'OK but if you're looking for Kara, you aren't gonna find her.' He says.

Will you just listen to him already?!! I'm in grave danger, oh no!!

I'm hearing Kara's 'I'm so pathetic' voice in my head. So that's crazy.

I don't even know why I'm listening to him.

I register myself in a seat and watch his smirk grow even wider and cuter.

I shake myself out of my thoughts and catch him staring at me.

'Cut to the chase Xander, just tell me what you want? I mean what do you wanna say?"

'Let's order something first?'

'I'm okay..' I say and he nods.

He takes my hand in his and I find myself day-dreaming about us.

I pull my hands away from his as quick as possible.

Why do I feel as if this is all a setup?

Intead of my stupid self reacting to that like: 'wtf Xander?! you broke my heart and now you want me back?'

I find myself laughing hard, I mean so hard that I almost believed there were tears in my eyes.

'What a joke.' I roll my eyes. 'If that's all, can I get my best friend back and leave now?' I ask.

'Look, I'm serious okay?' He says calmly his eyes scanning me for a 'I'm freaking out.' expression.

But that's not what ya gat bitch!! I know what I said do not correct me.

'I have a boyfriend.' I say.

Yea right...

'What?'

'Yes, I have a boyfriend.' That lie is sooo lame..

I finally see my 'kidnapped' bestie at the entrance and walk towards her. Leaving behind a speechless Xander.
