Love can break you and can also repair you. In my case, love is nothing it only destroys you. You think you love someone but you find out its all fake like a crazy hallucination. I mean why do people fall inlove? I never want to fall inlove again. I'll rather live with nine cats for the rest of my life.

Ok, there's way am I going to live with nine cats for the rest of my life. That's craa..zzy.

I'm busy drowning in my thoughts with my headphones in, listening to 'me and love don't get along.' By Tatiana Manaois while working on my English homework.

I basically think that song's meant for people like me.

I hum the melody until my phone interrupts. Whenever any of my friends calls, nothing good comes out of it. I mean it's obviously something tempting like a party or some other thing. It's Rachel calling.

'Hey Lerie, what's up.'

I would've said 'apparently, the ceiling.' As a reply but I find that joke silly.

'I'm okay I guess, how's your day been?'

'Great! We're off to a fair. Care to tag along?'

'No..I'll pass. I'm really busy right now. Have fun anyway.'

'You're no fun!!' She whines.

'She can't make it, guys.' I hear her say.

'What? Give that to me.' Kara's voice is evident.

'VALERIE KAYLA DIANE LIZZY SOPHIE WOODS!!' The drama queen shouts over the phone and I grumble in my pillow.

Great!! And how on earth did she get to know all my names? She is really something.

'If you don't say yes I'm gonna-'

'Bye, I love you!'

'Don't you press that button, don't you dare think of hanging up on-'

I hang up before she finishes.

Seconds later, she calls me but I ignore the call.

Ten purposely missed calls later, I decide to answer the phone, it's actually Tyson calling this time.

'What?' I say, tiredly.

'Well hello to you too.' He grumbles.

I roll my eyes even though he can't actually see me.

'What is it, Tyson?'

'I see, we're finally starting off with a good conversation now.' His voice is full of sarcasm.

'Of course. And do you wanna know the part I love the most?' I say with a sarcastic enthusiasm.

'Surprise me.'

'The part where we say goodbye.'

'At least we both agree on one thing.'

'What do you want?.'

'I want you to come over here and attend this fair with us right now!' He says dryly. 'Kara's words not mine.'

'I figured.' I sigh. 'Tell her I can't make it.'

'Too late, we're right in front of your house.'

'Tell me you're joking.' I say with disbelief.

I peep through the curtains and shut them back when I find out it's actually true.

'Seriously?'

I groan and hang up before getting dressed quickly.

'Val! Your friends are waiting!' Mom's calling again.
