Someone you loved

Mary Jane was a part of this universe, she went by Mary Jane. Her and Peter were boyfriend and Girlfriend before she was shot by a mugger. She had only her dad, who was abusive, so she saw Ben and May as her parents, so she asked that when she dies she would be buried next to them. Gwen was also in the universe and she died like in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In my AU, if you cry onto soil, and a flower or sprout grows instantly, it is a sign of brokeness. It signals: depression, lack of the will to live, and emotional paralysis.

Peter never expected this to happen. Last night he was at the semi-private cemetery pouring his heart out. Before Tony died, he allowed the bodies of the people in Peter's family to get moved to the cemetery. It was semi-private because people were allowed to visit with a small fee, except for people that had a pass. On Peter's it said, "Peter Parker-Stark" as he was adopted by Tony after May died.

He went, listening to music. "Someone You Loved" by Lewis Capaldi came on. "Great, very fitting," he muttered. He couldn't help but start singing. Someone in the cemetery heard and started recording.

"I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to save me," he sang as he approached his parents, aunt, uncle and 1st girlfriend's graves.

"This all or nothing really got a way of driving me crazy," he continued. When he got to their graves he sat down and put his head against the ground.

"I need somebody to heal, somebody to know. Somebody to have, somebody to hold," he sang, little tears beginning to fall down his cheeks.

"It's easy to say, but it's never the same."

It was easy to tell Mary Jane he loved her, but when she got shot, saying it had a new meaning. He loved her and her death would never leave Peter.

"I guess I kinda liked the way you numbed all the pain!" He burst out. More and more tears began to fall down his face.

"And now the day bleeds into nightfall!"

It was true. The sun was going down. Mood.

"And you're not here to get me through it all!" He yelled.

After Tony and Natasha died, the Avengers had their own way of grieving. They would take their anger out of Peter. Mostly snapping and yelling at him. Rarely, it got physical. Everyone there, his parents, his aunt and uncle and girlfriend would calm him down when he was upset.

"I let my guard down, and then you pull the rug!"

Peter let his guard down and because of it, Mary Jane, Ben And May died.

"I was getting kinda used to being someone you loved!"

He looked at Mary Jane's grave. Now he was full out sobbing. He got a tingle on his neck that said he was being watched, but he didn't care. He stood up. He started to walk again.

"I'm going under and this time I fear there's no one to turn to," he sang through tears.

The person videoing him was getting emotional from listening to him, but kept quiet.

"This all or nothing way of lovin got me sleeping without you," he sang, all his emotions getting poured into the song.

"I need somebody to know, somebody to heal. Somebody to have, just to know how it feels!"

He hasn't been able to have a relationship that lasts. He approached Gwen Stacey' grave, he 2nd girlfriend that he tried so hard to save, but was to late.
