Nobody's saying our neighborhood's the garden of Eden. Hell , some people say God avoids this place altogether. But it's been a good home to us, to me and my kids who I'm proud of because every single one of them reminds me a little bit of me.
Fiona, my rock, huge help, has all the best qualities of her mother, except she's not a raging psycho bitch.
Lip, smart as a whip straight A's and the honor roll. Boy's definitely going somewhere.
Kat, Lip's twin sister. She's a wonderful young women, she doesn't deserve to be here in this world. She's truly is my guardian angel, or any angel in general.
Ian, industrious, conscientious, ambitious, incredible work ethic. Don't have a clue where he got that from. Wants to be a paratrooper. Knows how to disembowel an enemy with a roll of dimes and an old gym sock.
Carl, I don't really know that much about Carl. Oh, loves animals. Always dragging home some poor stray he found, taking them up to his room.
Debbie, sent by god, total angel. Raises money for UNICEF year-round, some of which she actually turns in.
Liam, gonna be a star. I'm no biologist, but he looks a little bit like my first sponsor. He and the ex were close.
Kev and Veronica, fantastic neighbors. there's nothing they won't do for each other, or to each other. I never realized how little sex I was having till V and Kev moved next door. If i'm being a little honest here I feel that Kev and V like Kat in a lover type of way.
And lastly me, Frank Gallagher, father, teacher, mentor. Captain of our little ship. We might not have much, but all of us, to a man knows the most important thing in this life: We know how to fucking party!

"seven fifteen, monkeys. Come on." My older sister told my brother's and I as she entered the room then left
"First shower!" my brother Ian told Lip my twin brother.
They race to the bathroom, as I get out of Carl's bed.
"You had it yesterday" Lip told him
I heard the door close
I hear lip mutter out a "fuck
"And that's why I shower at night." I told my twin as I pass by him
I go to Fiona's room to get changed into black leggings and a baggy grey T-shirt with a jacket that was Kevin's but he didn't want it so he gave it to me.
I also put on some black tennis shoes that were Ian's and I just left my hair loose
we were all sitting down to eat breakfast. Until Fiona put a box on the table and said "Electric."
I give Fiona the milk gallon "the milk needs more water Fi" I told my sister
I put a twenty in the money box the passes it down
"No, you got a happy meal on the front of that shirt" Fi said to Carl as she puts the milk on the table
I look at my little brothers shirt notice it has a stain "arms up." I fix Carl's shirt inside out.
"Field trip. Need dad's signature." Ian said as he hands Debbie the paper.
"Debs, that's getting really good." Lip told Debbie as he looks at the paper
"Who's got the phone?" Fiona asks as she puts a load of laundry in the washer
"I got it" Lip said as he tosses Fi the phone "Any minutes left?" She asks "Fourteen."
