I was laying in my hospital bed, Kevin and Veronica on one side, Fiona and Debbie on the other. Carl was asleep at the end of my bed. I had Liam on my lap.
No one spoke, No one knew how to talk to me.
"I'm not broken, I won't break if you guys talk." I told them, I was exhausted of the silence.
"You wanna talk about it?" Fiona asked me as I played with Liam's hands.
"There's nothing to talk about." I whispered. Kevin got up
"Damn it, Kat! Don't act like this isn't anything important!" Kevin yelled as he paced causing Veronica to get up as sooth him "babe stop." She tells him
"Wanna Know how I feel?! I feel that ever fucking good thing in my life is fucked. I couldn't graduate high school! I can nearly take care of my siblings! I have fucking frank to worry about! Including the shit he does. I can't keep a goddamn relationship! I couldn't even Keep JJ alive for more then 20 minutes!" I yelled at him as I start to cry.
Liam started to cry, Carl woke up. "Debbie Take Liam and go to the waiting room." Fiona tells debbie
Carl crawls up to me he hugs me I hug him back. "I lost my Daughter! I just wanted my Daughter alive. I'm no good. I'm just gonna end up like fucking frank and Monica." I cried as I still hugged Carl.
"You won't, because you have me Kat. You are like a mom to me. If I could have you as a mom I would." Carl told me causing me to cry more. I kissed his head
"I love you bubba." I sobbed out. Suddenly Fiona gets a call she answered it. After a few seconds she hung up.
"Lip and Ian got arrested." Fiona tells me causing me to let go of Carl.
Fiona started grabbing her things then looked at me.
"Go. I'm okay I have Carl with me. I'll be good." I tell her she nods the looked at Veronica and Kevin.
"Can you guys watch Liam?" Fiona asked them they nodded. Then they all left except, Carl. He stayed with me.
"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked me since we have a TV in my room.
"Hell yeah." I gave him a small smile
That's the thing about Carl. He's my best friend in the world. I'll always have his back. He's my world, and I'm his. I know he always asks for my approval for everything.
I'm glad I have him here with me in this fucked up time.

It's finally the next day. I was able to go home. The doctor said She just wants me to be careful, but I'm good. She wants to see me in a week.
Everyone left to go pick up Ian and Lip.
I was in the boys room laying on carl's bed. Suddenly I hear everyone come in.
I heard the footsteps coming up the stairs. I saw Lip and Ian.
"Glad you guys are safe. Once I get better I'm gonna kick your guys ass." I warned them they smiled and chuckled.
"I'll be waiting." Lip tells me as he starts to smoke. I smiled Ian walks up to me and sits next to me.
"We heard about JJ." Ian tells me causing me to frown.
"You okay?" Lip asked me I sighed.
"I'm not, but I will be. I'm just glad you guys are back." I told them Ian gets up and sits on his bed while lip lays on his bed.
Carl comes in and asks "They give you a cavity search?"
"No we weren't there long enough. It was probably on the menu." Lip tells him as he calls someone probably Karen, crazy bitch.
