Chapter 16

Elena was just waiting in silents as the only wounds she heard were the wind blowing threw her hair and the leaves on the ground dancing around with the wind. 

William: well you actually came. 

Elena jumped because she did not know that he was behind her. 

She turned around to see him standing there.

Elena: Now that you are here. Please leave me alone...and Ben. 

William: this happened because of Ben. If you guys were not together this would have never happened. 

Elena: Are you serious right now? you're a child! this is why I left you! 

William was shocked by her words.

William: wow... I thought you were better than that Elena. 

William slightly turned around to act like he was walking away. but, then he turned back around a hit Elena was a rock he had in his pocket causing Elena to fall unconscious.

Elena woke up in the same spot she was when William hit her head. As she opened her eyes she saw a man and his wife standing over her trying to wake her up. 

Man: My goddess are you alright my dear?

Lady: Oh my your head is bleeding. 

Elena sat up super dizzy. 

Elena: I-I a-m fin-e. 

Lady: are you sure?

Elena: yes. 

Elena got up and walked to her car. she was wabbling when she got to her car door she lost balance and fell for the car but her hands caught her. She got in and drove off. 

*at her office* 

Elena was walking down the hall to her office really wobbling. all her workers saw and just thought she was drunk or something. But her vision was so blurry.

There was a man and the end of the hallway (basically at her door to her office but he was talking to Paul).

She stopped and her vision went blurry for a second and went back to normal long enough to see who it was. 

She looked for a second and saw it was Ben! was happy to see her until Elena fell to the floor and passed out. 

Ben saw that she was falling so he ran to catch her before she fell. 

Ben: Elena! 

Ben was holding her hand and her upper back. 

Ben: someone call 911! 

One of the workers ran off to call the ambulance.

Ben: (Tearing a bit) Oh Elena, I'm so sorry. I should have been with you! 

Ben looked up at all the workers.

Ben: does anyone know where she went last night?!

All the workers were silent looking at each other.

*In the hospital* 

Elena was slowly waking up. 

As she was able to open her eyes a bit, she felt a hand on her hand.

she looked up and saw Ben with this head on the bed crying.

Elena: Ben-?

Ben was so happy to hear her voice, he lifted his head to see Elena awake. 

Ben: Oh my god Elena. I'm so sorry! It's my fault this happened. I should have been with you.

Elena placed her hand back on his hand.

Elena: it was not your fault this happened.

The nurse comes into the room.

Nurse: Ah good your awake Ms.Miller. so your test results came back, they show that you were hit in the head with a hard thing. Then we contacted anyone who was there and the couple who helped you said that you got to your car and tried to drive. 

Ben: Oh god. Elena, why would you do that?!

Elena: (tears coming down her face hard) I had no choice he was gonna hurt me again. I had to get out of there. 

Nurse: I'll give you two some time. 

Ben turned back to Elena with a worried face.

Ben: Who was gonna hurt you?

Elena: William...

Ben: What!! 

Elena: He wanted me to meet him to end this drama. 

Ben: That was just a trick to lower you in. 

Elena: I need to get out of here, he's gonna find me here too.

Ben: Shhh it's gonna be okay.

Ben got up and sat next to her. Elena put her head on his shoulder. Ben was stroking her hair.

Nurse: alrighty looks like your good to go.

Ben: thank you.
