Crazy Ex Lover

Chapter 18

Elena was sitting on the couch just looking at Ben walk back in forth.

Ben: why would you ly to me Elena?

Elena: I just couldn't stand just sitting here quit.

Ben: (getting mad with his voice higher) What's more important Elena? Your health or this jack a**.

Elena: (Her yelling a bit) He needs to pay for what he did to me! I almost died that night. That was the closest I have been to death.

Ben had his hands on his waist just looking at Elena.

Elena: I can't live like this knowing that he is still out there, just waiting to strike. You know what. I can't do this. 

Elena was walking towards the front door when Ben grabbed her hand.

Ben: Elena. Don't do this. 

Elena looked at him in silents then at his hand on hers and pulled her hand back. She grabbed her keys and left the house. 

Elena was walking towards her car when she got a glimpse of her accident. she stopped there but she just shook her head and continued to get in her car and drive off. The only place she could think of that is the safest bet for her was one of her old houses that she had that no one knew about. 

*hours later* 

Elena was washes dishes in her old house when she got a knock on the door. She was startled, she ran grabbed the hoodie that was in her bag, and put it on to disguise herself. 

*She answered the door to see William standing there with a gun in his left hand and a knife in his right hand*

William: You thought you could hide from me.

William put the gun on her lower stomach and the knife to her neck. she was pushing her to a wall. 

Elena: (crying) William, please don't hurt me! 

William: aww it's okay I'm not gonna hurt you. I would make you pay with your life but that's too basic.

Elena: (tears in her eyes) you crazy. If your gonna kill me, then just get it over with. 

William: hmm good idea but nahh, messing with you is better. 

Elena passed for a second and thought: If he wants me to love him, then if I 'do' he will finally leave me alone. 

Elena put her hand on his face and said: 

Elena: Your right William, I should have stayed with you. 

William: what-?

Elena kissed his lips. she really did not want to. But she knew that this is the only way she could settle this. 

It happened

While that was happening, Elena was only thinking about Ben the whole time. she just wanted to get it over with.

*after that* 

the two were getting dressed when. 

William: see if you would have just loved me the whole time non of this was gonna happen. now I bring you no harm.

Elena was silent. 

William walked up to her. 

William: I'll call you later Elena, Don't keep me waiting or you don't wanna know what's gonna happen to that little boy of yours. 

At this point, William had the knife back to her throat. He was pushing harder and harder into her neck. 

Elena was trying to hold back her tears but she couldn't. 

William got up to leave. 

Elena was left there on the bed. she was silent for a second until she heard the door close. Right after that, she burst out crying. she felt like her entire body was gonna brake into a million pieces. her whole body was aching with pain. 

That's when she checked her phone and saw that she had a voicemail from Ben.

*Voice mail. 

Elena, please come back to the penthouse. I need to know your okay. I'm sorry I didn't trust you it's just I don't wanna lose you. I love you so much. Call me back when you get this. 

*End of the voicemail* 

Elena was about to cry when she heard that voicemail. So Elena grabbed her stuff and got in her car and drove back to the penthouse.
