i've been staying at julia's house for a week now, and she's really made it feel like home. alex has been nonstop talking about the guys.

"oh my god, when you and calum were," julia looked at him and he cleared his throat, "having fun, me and ashton and luke had the most heart warming conversation!"

"and that was about..?"

"he asked me what my favorite color was and i was like red duh and then luke said oh that's cool how old are you and i said 19 and look was like holy shit you're older than me and i was like yeaahh & then ashton asked me if you and me had done anything and i said no haha and he said good keep it that way and i screamed BC IT WAS 2/4 OF THEM AHAHAIAS!!!"

it. was. 8. in. the. morning. and. he. was. already. screaming.

"CAN WE GO BACK TODAY?!"

"i-i guess?"

"GREEAAATTT!"

i cleared my throat and said what i said.

"so uh...today's my birthday..."

"really! happy birthday sydney!" julia said as she got up and hugged me.

"thank you. my brother and his band won't remember so its nice to hear someone say it."

"well, when you come back i'll have a surprise for you."

"no its alright, really."

"i insist."

so we went back to the guys' house at 7. since julia made us help her clean the house all morning.

*knock, knock*

*luke opens door*

"sydney!"

"hey."

"everyone's inside."

he opened the door and we went inside and greeted everyone. i sat down next to ashton and calum. while alex squirmed beside calum.

"so why are you here?" ashton asked, kind of harshly.

"dang, what did i ruin porn night for you guys?"

"hahaha, no."

"well, um, do you know what today is?"

"porn day?" michael said, trying to make me laugh.

i got up and went to the kitchen. i grabbed myself a beer from the refrigerator, popped it open and walked back into the living room.

"hey, what're you doing with that! you're not old enough!" ashton said.

"well guess what, ashton? I'M ONLY ENOUGH TODAY."

he looked confused for a second then went wide eyed.

"oh my god..."

i took a slug of the beer and handed it to alex.

"uh, no thanks. not old enough."

"right."

i then handed it to michael and he drank right from it.

"sydney, i'm s--"

"its whatever ashton. i'm just 19. not a big deal."

"it kind of is, i forgot--"
