26: kiss me

are you kidding me? michael thinks i'm in love with luke! i'm--i'm not. literally like 3 weeks ago, luke asked me if he was a good kisser:

"hey syd?" luke said as he walked over to me and sat down on the couch beside me.

"yeah?"

"am-am i a g-good kisser?"

"what? why?"

"i-i don't know."

"we've only kissed once, i wouldn't remember."

"really? because you were a great kisser. even for just 5 secnods."

"ha, *awkward laugh* thanks?"

"i-i'm just really worried that i'm a bad kisser.."

"why?"

"i don't know...haven't dated in a while."

"well, why are you asking if you're a good kisser?"

"i...i don't know okay! so just kiss me and tell me if i'm a good kisser!"

"luke, i don't think we should-"

and he just kissed me. he stopped me and kissed me. for literally longer than 5 minutes. i need airrr.

i finally pushed him off of me and wiped my mouth.

"luke, what the fuck!"

"what?"

"you know i..i like michael, right?"

"no shit."

"then?"

"don't know, felt like kissing you to make sure you liked him and only him."

"you *short laugh* you thought i like you?"

"well...yeah."

"HAHAHA. I'M SORRY BUT HAHAHA."

"you don't like me huh?"

"nope."

"well. how about this? you & me hang out for 2 weeks straight. and we'll see who you like by then."

"ha, nooo."

"why not? afraid you might like me?"

"*sigh* fine. but if ashton gets mad, i'm telling him you forced me to."

"whatever."

and then for the past 2 weeks we've been hanging out non stop. then, yesterday, he kissed me. again.

we were sitting on the couch watching tv when he literally out of nowhere starts kissing me.

i obviously don't kiss back because it was out of no where. after he noticed that i didn't kiss back he pulled away and awkwardly looked at me.

"uh..sorry.."

"its-its okay."

we tried and continue watching tv without awkwardness but it was just unbearable.

"okay fine. luke?"

"you like me?"

"no...but if it makes you feel any better, you were the one i had a crush on since year 9. then when you got a girlfriend i got sad, and stopped liking you."

"wait, so why did you start liking me?"

"because i was in the back of music class, i got a c- in that class by the way, and you were such a good singer, & i remembered walking in accidently to you & calum in the music room recording a video. and you were really nice to me."
