"Rewind"

Meliodas' POV

When Zenari started chanting, a circle of light surrounded me. Just like a snap, a ray of white bright light shined my eyes. I slowly opened my eyes as, I start to try and make my vision clear again.

I was in, purgatory? What am I doing back here?

"MELIII!!!" I heard a familiar voice behind me. I turned around to see Luna running towards me. My eyes widened as she came and hugged me.

"There you are dummy" she said as she ruffled my hair. I stood there shock as I was thinking if this was real or not.

"Hey, you okay? Did Zeldris do something again? Cause I swear he just pulled a prank on me!!!" She whines and crossed her arms together.

It's her, she is the Luna that I know. It was like nothing happened.

"Hey for real? Are you okay? You seem out of it" she said as she poked and, snapped her fingers infront me.

I hugged her and, started touching her butt. "Oh everything is perfect" I said.

She kicked me in the air and screamed, "STOP BEING A PERVERT!!!"

She collected herself together and, fixed her hair as well as her dress.

"Anyways, I got a surprise for you later okay? Meet me by the garden" she said as she ran away from my sight.

I walked on the view of wilted roses and, bushes of thorns. Luna was standing in the fountain that poured a black goowey substance.

"What is the surprise?" I asked her as I placed my hands on my neck.

"I just wanted to ask you something" she said as she walked backed a little. I looked at her with one of my eyebrow raised up.

"Why did you lie?" She said with her head down.

"Luna what are you-", "I said why did you lie? You promised me!!! YOU FUCKING LIARR!!" She screamed at me.

Then I turned around to see Elizabeth with a mischievous smile.

No, not again."LUNA!! IT IS NOT LIKE THAT!!" I screamed but, it was too late she teleported.

"Potion room!" I mumbled and, was about to teleport when, Elizabeth stopped me.

"YOU ARE ALL MINE NOW!!!" She said and laughed in an evil way. I pushed her to the ground and, teleported inside the room.

Luna's dead body was laying there, I couldn't get there in time. I screamed as my power surrounded the whole purgatory.

Then a white light appeared in my eyes. I was getting my vision clear when, I realized it was just a dream and, I was back at my room.

I looked beside me to see an awoken Luna. "Hey baby, are you okay? It was just a nightmare" she said as she lightly patted my back.

"Yeah, thankfully" I said as I laid down with her in my arms.

"Meliodas?" She quietly called my name. I hummed in respond and, lightly stroked her hair.

"Why did you do it?" She asked me as I got confused.

"Do what honey?" I asked her in confusion as I felt drops of liquid on my chest.

"Why did you lie!!!" I heard Luna screamed. I looked down to see her crying her eyes out and, she pushed me back. I looked around to see that I was back where it happened, again.

"Luna, it isn't wha-"," What I THINK!?!?! YOU LIAR!! YOU PROMISED ME!! YOU SAID I WAS THE ONLY ONE YOU LOVED!!" She screamed and slapped me. As the same as before, Elizabeth stopped me from teleporting and, she laughed in an evil manner.

I quickly teleported just to be encountered by Luna's dead body and, a broken empty bottle next to her. I screamed in pain as my powers once more covered purgatory.

With a heavy breath, I opened my eyes to see myself back in the cave with the girls.

"Hey are you okay?" Luna asked me as she quickly stood up from her spot.

"Well, it looks like you failed Meliodas." Zenari said with disappointment.

"TAKE ME BACK!!" I screamed at her.

"it's too dangerous!! IF YOU KEEP DOING IT YOU CAN KILL YOURSELF!!" She said to me.

"NO! I AM GOING TO PASS THIS TRIAL!! Take me back please." I said as I tried to beg her.

Thankfully, she chanted and, the same circle appeared around me once again.

Here we go again. This time, I am going to accomplish it.

I was sitting on the bench placed outside the balcony of Luna's room. She was beside me, with her head on my shoulder as we enjoyed each other's company.

"You know, I really wish we can actually see the sunset from here" she said as her hands inter whined with mine.

"Me too, Luna. I am not a perfect person but, the promise that I made to you is real. I really love you, you are the only girl who can have my heart, more like all 7 of it" I said as I chuckled at the last part.

"Then, why did you lie?" Just like in a snap we was back in the scene.

"You promised me." She said as she disappeared. I controlled myself as Elizabeth held me back and, laughed mischievously.

I teleported to the potion room to meet my expectations. Her beautiful, breath taking body was laying there. With an empty bottle on her hand.

I gathered all of my emotions and, placed her on my knees and, put her hair back to see her gorgeous face.

"The promise that I made to you, is the one I won't break. I have made a mistake but, Luna I love you" i said as I kissed her forehead and, placed her down.

I looked at her once more, before closing my eyes.

When I opened it, a face of a teary Luna, a shock Zenari and lost Elizabeth was in front of me.

"Why are you crying?" I asked her as I wiped her tears with my thumb.

"I love you too, Meli." She said as she hugged me and, sobbed herself on my shoulder. Tears of happiness, I guess.

"Good job, Meliodas. You accomplished your trial" Zenari said in an emotionless voice.

"What did I tell ya?" I said and showed her a thumbs up.

A promise is a promise Luna, even if it was broken, I will keep it till my last breath....
