"An oath"
Luna's POV
The ball was absolutely amazing. Elizabeth's father, the king, gave a beautiful speech expressing his gratitude to the sins.
Ofcourse, I couldn't be but, proud of them. The rest of the night was pretty much normal for a ball.
I did notice that Meliodas was always in and out of the ball.
"Hey Gowther, why does Meliodas keep going in and out of the party?" I asked him when I went to fetch a drink.
"I am not entirely sure" he answered me as he shrugged his shoulders.
"W-well, can you read his mind for me...hehehe" I tried to persuade him.
"But weren't you the one who told me not to do unless I have permission?" He said blankly.
"Fine." I sighed.
I walked back to Elaine just to see her and Elizabeth were giggling.
"So what's the joke?" I spoke up. Their face got paler as they start to shake.
"U-um..Well-", "Luna! There you are. Meliodas told me to tell you something came up and meet him in the garden" Hawk panted heavily as he interrupted Elaine.
"Huh? Is he okay? What happened?" I asked him.
"He didn't say a reason. He just told me if you won't be there in 5 minutes, he will ROAST ME!" He begged on my feet.
As much as I want to see this pig roast, I can't bare to the fact that he will die.
"Fine, geez." I said and excused myself.
It was almost midnight and, the moon was shining brightly.
The stars twinkled along with the moon.
The cold breeze blows on my bare shoulder.
The garden was full of amazing flowers. Unlike purgatory, no site of thorns were there. The fountain actually have fresh water running.
Then, memories came back to me. The time Meliodas asked me to meet him by the garden. The time he confessed his love for me. That time was when my world was complete.
I smiled to the thought of the memory and sighed.
"Beautiful isn't it?" a voice spoke up.
I turned around to see Meliodas standing while staring to the moon.
"Yeah. The moon is beautiful" I said as I stared to the yellow glowing circle.
"Well, I feel special to have a moon of my own" he said and looked at me.
"Huh? What do you mean?" I asked him confusingly.
He chuckled. "Did you know, your name means Moon?" He answered me.
"Really? I never had a time to actually look for the meaning of my name." I said smiling.
"You're my moon, and I am your night" he said as he walked closer to me and held my hands.
"Luna, ever since the time I confessed my heart to you, I never felt so sure. So sure that you was going to be mine. I made a promise and, broke it. It is true that promises are meant to be broken but, an oath is something that can't be destroyed." He said as he looked at my eyes.
"W-what are y-you saying?" I stuttered.
"I swore, on my life, to all of my seven hearts, that you Luna Lin is the only girl I love. I may not be perfect but, I will try my best to give you a happy life. To always love you from your petty self to your loving self" he said and kneeled down.
My eyes started to blur as my heart beats faster every second.
"Luna Lin, will you marry me?" He said as his eyes sparkled.
"M-Meli...
