I woke up to a man pulling me out of bed and up a set of stairs. I panicked and got a good enough look at him. One of the three men. I started screaming, but soon enough I realized I was a mess and the stairs were leading from their basement.
I was freaking out to the point of hyperventalating. Was escaping all a dream? Was I still with them? Or had they somehow caught me again?
They pinned me down on a table, "Listen up, Delily. We're getting that baby out of you and if you even think about saying a lie about us to this doctor..."
The man speaking leaned down to my ear, "...no food for two weeks."
Baby? Doctor? I was confused and terrified. I could tell I was starved enough that no food for two weeks would either kill me literally or metaphorically. I tried to shift to my wolf form, but I couldn't do it. There was a knock on the door and they stopped pinning me down. A man walked in with medical equipment. He seemed friendly enough that I considered begging for help.
Before I could decide, everything faded away. I opened my eyes to see my room in Nate's house. Was that all a dream?
I got up and went downstairs to find him sitting on the couch. I slowly sat beside him, debating whether to tell him or not.
"What's wrong?" He asked, clearly worried.
"Just a dream." I quietly mumbled.
"About?" He gently placed a hand on my cheek to turn my head to him.
I decided to tell him everything. After finishing, I asked why it felt so real.
"Do you recognize the doctor?" He asked, a few minutes after comforting me.
I shook my head, "But now that I think about it, I didn't smell a wolf. Maybe he was a human?"
A few moments later, I told Nate it was probably nothing and I didn't want to talk about it. I realized it could have just been my fears about my past mixed with fears about my new nephew.
Nate nodded but I could clearly tell he was still worried about me. I grabbed his hand to squeeze it reassuringly before getting up to look out the window.
"Do you want to go for a run?" I was caught off guard by his question, "We could give your wolf a workout."
I hesitated, then realized I haven't even seen my wolf form yet. I didn't get a chance while running. I mumbled an okay before going upstairs to the bathroom. I closed the door behind me and got undressed before trying to shift. It was hard, not knowing what to picture, but I somehow managed to do it. I was a little short to see in the mirror, so I jumped up to put my front paws on the counter. I was surprized to see a beautiful looking whit wolf with blue eyes.
I smiled and turned to leave the bathroom, when I realized I had closed the door. I was about to shift back when it opened and I saw Nate standing there with an amuzed smile.
"Locked yourself in?" He laughed.
I looked away, embarrassed. I knew he was just joking, but it was still hard for me to join in on any joke.
He crouched down so he was at eye level with me. He reached out and pet me, "Your wolf is just as beautiful as you."
I shook my head in denial and more ambarrassment. My human form wasn't beautiful. The men made sure I knew that.
Nate then stood up and went in the bathroom to shift, making sure the door was open enough to get a paw through. The wolf that emerged was an amazing reddish-brown colour with light brown eyes. I was about a foot smaller than him because of the small amount of the cat gene.
Soon, we were outside running around the forested area of the territory. We slowed down a few times due to my body still being weak, but it was fun. I was happy
