I just sat there, unable to move due to the chains binding me to the basement wall, as the three men did what they wanted to my body. This was what every day was like ever since I was eight. Now I was seventeen.

The only connection I had to the outside world was the small, barred off window above my dirty mattress.

I barely got much food to keep me alive. I'm sure they were starving me and giving me little amounts of food just to torment me. I only got fed about half a meal every three or four days.

"What's wrong, little Delily?" One of them cooed, "You should be used to this by now."

Delily. The stupid nickname they gave me. They called me that the first time they ever did anything to me. I told them it was stupid, which I regretted because they punished me using wolfsbane. I'm glad I'm not a full werewolf (my mom is a werecat) because it was the worst pain I ever felt.

I felt the tears dripping down my cheeks as I struggled against the chains. I found it harder to breathe because of the cloth they used as a gag.

One of them grabbed a knife and started cutting my skin in the same spot they had for five years. They wanted me to know I was their toy, so they cut the shape of a moon on my shoulder because they call themselves "The Blood Moons."

I bit down on the cloth, waiting for the pain to be over. He finished quicker tat time, or maybe I was just getting used to it, and they decided they were done for a while.

They unchained me and threw me on my mattress before leaving and locking the basement door behind them.

I took the gag off and put it beside me while I started crying harder. It was becoming a routine.

I suddenly felt pain all over my body as I felt my bones breaking. I must have been shifting to my hybrid wolf form for the first time. If I wasn't a hybrid, I would've shifted when I was sixteen. What was probably about a minute felt like hours. I panted, standing on my paws.

The door flew open and all three of the men were standing there. I knew that was my only chance, so I ran and knocked them over as I went up the stairs and outside the door as fast as I could. I never got much exercise being locked in a basement, so it was hard to keep going, but I knew if I could make it to the city where humans live, I'd be safe.

I ran out of breath quickly and fell over, too tired to even try and hide. I heard footsteps and closed my eyes, ready to be taken back and punished.

"Shift to your human form." Someone commanded, but it wasn't any of the three men.

I lifted my head and saw a man standing over me.

He sighed, "I don't have all night."

I thought back to when my mom was telling me about my wolf. She said that when I shift, I need to think about myself in human form. I soon found myself laying in the dirt, naked.

I heard someone walk behind him, "Get away from my mate!"
