The Shack (Chapter 13)

Mark's POV

I walk in the Lobby to see all my friends except for Jessica and Beth who are mostly still doing there makeup together. I see Thomas standing next to Peter. I run down towards them. When I get there Thomas gets a glimpse of me he runs off. I watch him as he runs out of the lobby.

When I get over to Peter he looks upset. " Dame he's not an easy person to trick," Peter says to me. "What did you say to him Jackass" I yell at him. Then in the corner of my eye, I see Ned and Liam come over to us. "woww come down guys, " Liam told us. "Yeah dipshit doesn't try anything on me or I'll turn you into a chair and lit you on fire," Peter tells me as I go to punch him as Liam catches my punch and Ned pulls me away.

Thomas POV

I Fucking hate Peter. I guess I can hate someone then. It's been over an hour now. I've been to Mr. Cain's class since I ran off. We still have to give a presentation. I am pretty sure what peter said is not true but why would he say that. I am sitting at the same seats as last time. I am playing for him so I can talk to him.

" Thomas there you are" Mark calls out for me. I don't see anyone else from the group. " Hey" is all I manage out. " Whatever he told it's not true," Mark tells me. " You don't even know what he said," I tell him Response to him.

"But I've known him for most of my life Thomas. He is to a Merman. He lives in Australia as well." Mark tells me. I didn't know the other half of Peter was Merpeople. I guess that makes sense of why he knows so much about him.

" Thomas you can tell me what he said to you," Mark tells me. " He told me that you were only hanging out with me to have someone powerful you can use against other people. " I tell him as his face drops. " That does sound like me at all Thomas," he tells me as he laughs. This makes me laugh to " I know, I just ran off cause I was upset at the time." I tell him as we laugh.

" Well you ready for our Presentation," Mark tells me with a smile. " Nope," I say to him real fast. " Yeah neither am I.," he says as we can't stop laughing.

I get to the lunch table with my lasagna. Where I see Jessica, Mark, Liam, Ned, Jeb, and Beth already there. "Hey guys," I tell them as I go to sit down next Jessica and Jeb.

" So did you guys hear about the party tonight in the Midnightwoods," Ned asks us. I can tell where this is going. The Midnightwoods are the woods that surround the whole school. I think the woods go on for miles and miles.

" Oh yeah am down," Jessica says. Oh, great am probably going to be dragged along to. " Sounds like fun, we are down," Beth says for her and Jeb. "I have nothing else to do," Mark says out loud. Then all eyes go to me and Liam.

"So your guys coming?" Ned asks us. I look over at Jessica and mouth to her no. " Yeah, he's coming," Jessica says for me. " Yeah I'll go then if Thomas is going," Liam says. Dang, I don't it would be that bad. Besides what else would I do this weekend then. " It's settled then. Were all going." Ned says to us.

" Hey watch it bitch" I hear a girl screams two tables down from us in the cafeteria. We all turn around to see a girl yelling at Dylan. What did he do to her? " What are you looking at Dean," Dylan told me as he just walks off without. He never did say anything to that girl just me." I wonder what happened?" Ned says out loud.
