The Dragons (Chapter 8)

Thomas POV

I can feel my face rush to red. Oh shit. I look over at Jessica and she knew that I was embarrassed. She grabbed my hand and hold it tight. Look to over at everyone else and they just look like they feel bad.

" Okay so back to the matter at hand." I hear Mr. Cain say to everyone. " this class period is going to be short. You are going to be doing a project about a famous supernatural war event." he says to everyone.

I Am still listing to him but I am still a bit out of it. " Everyone needs to take notes about what they will need for the project." Mr. Cain advises the class to do so as I pull out my notebook. " I will not repeat myself so if you don't have it now ask someone near you. If you can't find someone to tell you then the door is right there because we have over 300 kids in the class alone," he says before he magical picks up chalk and starts to write as he speaks.

" First it must be in a form mat to present in. I don't give a shit if it's a poster, slideshow, website, or a puppet shows," he says as the class laughs but he doesn't. So everyone stops real fast. " Next it must be a real event. It doesn't have to be a war or a conflict. Just a major supernatural event. So nothing about the Vietnam war or War world Two but I'll count War World one since the supernatural world secretly got involved." he says again as I finish writing down that step. " this will be due next Monday. You will have to present to the class about your event half your grade is the project itself and the other half is your presentation." he says as I look up around the class. We have to presents to all of there's kids, great. " lastly you have only one partner for this and the library is open to doing research from 8:00 Am to 11:00 Pm. Once you found a partner you may leave. See this as getting time to work on the project. " he says to everyone as half the class gets up.

look to my side to see Mark first. " you want to be partners" Mark asked me in his cute Australian accent. " yeah he does" Jessica says as she pushed past me to get to Beth. She mostly wants to be partners with her. They must have bonded over this pasted week.

" is that a yes" Mark asks me as we stand up. " yeah, of course," I tell him as we walk out with the group. I guess I was able to find my self a group of friends.
The group which consists of Me, Jessica, Mark, Ned, Jeb, Beth, Liam, and Charlotte.

The group of us unlikely friends since most groups are only one type of supernatural creature. We walk out of the building to tell each where we are off to. " Hey Thomas, we both have dragon 101 next do you want to walk together" Liam pulls me to the side to tell me. " yeah of sure," I say to him as we both tell the rest of the group bye. As we are walking away I can feel eyes watching me but I know after that class a lot of kids will be talking about me.

We are halfway to the building when I realize this is the first time I've been alone with Liam. Like me and Liam are friends and all, but we never do anything to talk to each other that much. Before I can say or do anything Liam says something.

" Hey, I saw the video of that night you got into a fight," he says while sounding a bit timid. This is weird because when I first met him he was chill and clam when he spoke but now he acting a bit weird.

" Yeah what about it?" I ask him wanting to know why he is bringing this up to me. " Well how long have you been able to change," he tells me.

I see now why he is asking. Am very young to be able to change into my Dragon form. He must have tons of trouble getting his dragon form to listen. "Well... being a 100% honest to you. I have always had a good connection to my Dragon form. It could be because I am also a wolf and a wizard. " I tell him as we walk up to the building. He seems to just nod his head up and down.
