Week 23 challenge
Dying is a bliss!A poem being an ant on a picnic
****
As I was feeling bored,
Living behind these four walls;
I get a chance to go out.On a voyage, full of fun and food.
I am small,
No one can see me.But yes, only if they observe.
Now, why would people waste their time?Looking at me,
I am no harm to them.As I live eating food morsels,
Available to me.On the teeny weeny bit on the edge,
Of the black kitchen flooring.I am eagerly waiting for the dream,
My dream voyage to be out,
As my owner is taking us to a picnic.I secretly take my place in the cheese,
On the beautiful buttery cover.Hidden inside the pack from the eyes,
Taking a deep breath, I realized
I was in motion. As I could feel the vehicle moving,
And hear the kids flaunting their outfits. The cheese was out after some time,
Laid on the green carpet cloth,
Over the thick pasture of lush meadow.Instead of eating, I looked around,
Breathe in the natural air.My lungs consuming with pure air.
I started to crawl slowly, away from cheese.
But I felt a sudden rush of blood to my brain,
And I accepted my fate.Since my death was near,
As one of the kids has pressed me to die,
With bread specks, he had on.Smiling at nature,
And taking in the memories around,
I closed my eyes on top of the lush.Feeling blessed, I was dying in the lap of beautiful nature.
