KAIRA POV

As soon as I got the approval from Karan, I and Neil proceeded towards the locked room. Professor Saxena and Karan stayed back with mom. I can still hear mom's roaring voice. She is crying to set her free.

We finally reached to the locked room. The door is closed and I have no idea about where the key of the lock is.

"How are we going to get in?" I asked.

"We need something to break this lock." Neil replied.

"Like hammer?"

"Yes, do you have one?"

"I think it's in store room. I'll get it." I said and ran towards the store room.

As I opened the door of the store room, I found it dark. Karan once told me that there is still repairing left of electricity supply to the room. I switched on the button and the blub glew. I started taking steps further and the bulb started flickering. I looked around and chilled fear passed through my spine. I felt someone passed by behind me. I turned behind to find no one.

'Focus on what you need to do, Kaira.' I told myself.

I started to search hammer. I couldn't see properly due to the constant flickering of bulb. I searched and searched and finally found the hammer. Without waiting for a second, I ran holding the hammer to my chest like my life depended on it.

I reached to the locked room and gave the hammer to Neil. Neil raised the hammer to bang, but we found a sudden push from front. We moved behind. As we moved front, there was still an invisible force that wasn't allowing us to move further.

Suddenly all ghosts appeared infront of us, the ones who died in the mansion. They were crossing our path.
"Please allow us to enter." I said.

"No." The same woman whom I saw in my dream sweeping said. Professor Saxena said that she was working in this mansion.

"But why? I know what happened to you when you were alive was unfair. Do you want the same history to repeat again?" I shouted. I was losing my temper.

"You move from here. We will not allow you to go inside the room." A lady wearing the bridal attire said. I guess she was    daugter of  Mr. Vijay Kapoor's daughter who died on her wedding day.

"I know, you are under control of the king, but don't you want freedom from all this? Do you want to stuck here forever?" Neil asked politely. Neil has so much patience, while I lost it quickly due to my anger.

All of them started looking at each other.

"Let us allow to do what we are doing. After this, even you will free from the possession of king." Neil said calmly. He was trying to make them understand what we were doing.

They nodded and all of them disappeared. Our path was cleared. Neil then banged the lock with hammer and finally the door opened. When we stepped our feet inside, again some invisible force tried to throw us outside. I holded Neil's hand. With a strong determination, we finally entered the room.

The room was dark, but the sunlight flowing from the window was able to make everything visible. I felt that I had seen this earlier. I looked at Neil who had a confused look.

'Is he thinking the same as I am?' I asked myself.

NEIL POV

As we entered the locked room, I felt that I had seen this room before.

'May be in your previous birth.' My mind mocked.

Yes, everything looks familiar; the same vase, the bed, the sword hanging on wall, the circular shaped bed and almost every thing in the room. But due to all this years, things had become muddy, rusted and spider's webs were everywhere.

I looked at Kaira. The expression on her face tells me that she also feels the same.

"Everything is same." Kaira muttered.

"Almost" I said.

"Where must be the dead body buried?" She asked.

"We need to search that." I replied.

"Professor Saxena told me to find something that looks indifferent." She told me and I looked everywhere, but didn't find any indifferent.

"We need to search every corner of this room, we need to get atleast find one clue." I said.

"Let's search." Kaira said and we started our search, from the cupboards to under bed. There is nothing to indicate the presence of dead body.

"What to do? We are not finding anything." Kaira said placing her hand on head.

"How this can be possible?" I said as my eyes falled on something, the portrait.

"This portrait?" I said confused.

"What happened?" Kaira asked.

"Everything in this room is still placed at their original place, except this portrait of King Sporaj Pratap Singh Rathore. How come?" I said and looked at her and then reality striked our mind. Our eyes widened.

"The dead body is behind this" We said in unison.
