He killed my sister. I remember it. Ammy slipping on the ice, running to get a coat and hat in the cornacopia.
Then he comes over and-
"Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at home grieving while the rest of your district celebrates my success?" He remarks while I look at his eyes. Misguiding, liar, betrayal is all I see.
"I think I can make it in the games just fine on my own. So, I don't need a mentor who has only an interest in getting me in a coffin. That's all I have to say to you." I say, calmly picking up a pear and pitching it to the ground. I think about walking away, then holding the necklace that... I feel my pocket and panic. I look around turning from Laceon.
"Looking for something?" He asks me, pulling a shiny idem from his pocket.
I look in the door and find the familiar and tiny necklace in his menacing hands.
"Where did you get that?" I growl, stiffly turning toward him.
"Well, you wanted to know how you got here, let me put it in terms you can understand. Why don't you take a seat and cuddle with your precious necklace?"
"There's really no need. And, one other thing. I think I can understand. Just spit it out and don't pretend to be a considerate person. I know the repulsive creature that you are." I say through grinding teeth, ripping the delicate jewelry from his fingers.
"Start from the top."
