Zed groaned as he pulled into the driveway and saw Zoey waiting for him on the front porch. “Zed, do you want to talk about the letter with everyone here or not?” Zoey asked him as he walked on to the porch. “May as well do it now. They’ll all findout once word gets around this place, because everyone thinks they need to know eachothers fucking business in this town.” Zed said as he was starting to grow angrier and angrier with this town. Zoey could see her brother's anger growing as she walked in the house behind him. As they sat down Zoey couldn't help but wonder how this news was going to affect her and Ty and whatever her brother and Autumn were. “Ok, so I guess we have a lot to talk about” Zed grumbled as he sat on the couch. As soon as Autumn walked into the room, Zed wrapped his large hands around her and pulled her down onto his lap. Everyone looked at the interaction that just happened between Zed and Autumn. “So ummm….. I just want to apologize for how I've acted since you moved here. Autumn, Ty and Zoey explained everything to me the other night. I know that doesn't even begin to make up with how I've acted, but I'm hoping that you’ll let me try and make it up to you?” Gabe said as he looked at the tall teen who currently had his cousin sitting on his lap as he buried his face in her hair. “It’s all good man” Zed said as he held his hand out to shake Gabes. “Ohh, I talked to the coach and your back on the team” “Really?!” “Yeah” “Thanks man.”

“Ok. We need to talk about this letter” Zoey said as he looked at her brother, his expression going from knowing to pure anger. Everyone in the room could tell that Zed didn’t want to talk about it as he gritted his teeth and tightened his grip on Autumn. “Zed, why didn’t you come to me? You know I will always help you.” “Because Zoey, you are my baby sister. I shouldn’t have to come to you for financial help, because our fucking dick of a father hates me and loves to make my very existence pure hell. So yes what the letter says is true. Daddy dearest is suing me for living in this fucking house that I have been making payments on since he fucking left us. I have until next week to let the house go to the bank or he is taking me to court” Zed yelled at the other teens in the room. He was so angry with his dad and everyone could tell as he moved Autumn off his lap and headed to the kitchen. Everyone sat there as they hurd Zed start cussing in the kitchen. A few minutes after clearly talking to someone on the phone, he emerged from the kitchen with a pack of redbull and a bottle of tequila. “Zed” Zoey calmly said as she saw the items in his hand and the look of hate, sadness, and anger on his face. “Don’t Zoey. Yes I’ve been drinking. Right now drinking is what I need to just get all of that phone call out of my head. “Zed who called you?” Ty calmly asked as he walked towards him. Zed stiffened when Ty got closer to him, afraid that he was going to try and take the contents from him. “My fucking dad. He said I now have until tomorrow to be out and let the house go to the bank. He needs the money from it now, before him and whatever the fucking hell her name is get married and especially before they have there baby. You know because the kids he already has don’t mean shit to him.” Everyone stayed there as Zed as scowled at them. “Zoe, I’m sorry I failed you” “Zed, you didn’t fail me. We will figure this out together ok?” Ok, but until I can find a place I want you to go stay at Ty’s house. Please.” Zoey shook her head as her, Ty, and Gabe went to her room to grab what she would need. Once they had everything they came back out and Zoey hugged Zed before leaving. “You coming Autumn?” “No, I'm going to stay with Zed,'' she said back to her cousin. “Ok” He said before leaving the two.

“Autumn you don’t have to stay. I’m just going to be drinking, looking for a place to go, and packing.” “I know, but I’m staying,” She said as she stretched up and crushed their lips together. Zed was a little taken back, but was quick to wrap his arms around her. “You know we should probably pack stuff before we do other things” He said as he winked at her, earning a playful punch to the arm from her. “Do you have any boxes?” “Yeah in the garage, I’ll go grab them.” Zed came back a few minutes later with boxes for them to put stuff in.
