Eve?

 “I love you Zed!” “Marry me!?” 

Autumn stared up at Zed as she let his words sink in. “Marry me!?” Zed began to grow nervous as him and Autumn continued to sit in silence for an hour. “Autumn?” Autumn looked up to see the concerned look on his face, she quickly moved to place her hands on either side of his face. 

“Z, I didn’t mean to freak you out by not answering you. You just caught me off guard by asking me such a serious question.” 

“I’m sorry, Autumn”

“Zed I don’t want you to apologize. I love you, and I would love to marry you, but I want you to be sure that you really mean it before you ask me.”

“I DO!” Zed cried as he wrapped Autumn in his arms before crashing their lips together. 

“YES!” Autumn moaned into the kiss.

Over the next few months Zed and Autumn were even more inseparable then Zoey, Ty, and Gabe thought possible. In March Zed had planned a date night and properly proposed to Autumn. In May Zed found a decent job just outside of Serenity, he was able to work his work hours around his school hours as he finished his last month of his senior year of high school. It was the first week of June, Ty and Gabe were working on finalizing stuff for their open houses while Autumn and Zoey were out shopping for dresses for there's. Meanwhile Zed was working his usual Saturday shift at the realtor company he worked for. Still being a high school student, he couldn’t believe that he had gotten this job, but he had. He had been having a great week at work until he was introduced to his next client. Zed felt the stomach bile in his throat as the tall tanned redhead walked towards him. “Hi Zed!”  

“What the hell are you doing here Eve?” She smirked as she took a seat across from him. 

“Looking for a house” Zed just glared at her as he had flashbacks of their past.

*4 Years ago in Seabrook*

Zed and Eve had been together for 6 years and were getting ready for their freshman year of high school. The night before the first day of school Zed and Eve went to an end of summer/ welcome back to school party. Both teens had a little two much to drink and one thing led to another. The next morning Zed woke up to get ready for school and was confused as to why his girlfriend was in bed with him, until he remembered what happened last night. Zed groaned as he scrubbed his hand over his face as he looked down at Eve. 

“Earth to Zed!” Eve scolded as she waved her hand in front of his face. Zed let out a slight growl as he stood and ushered for her to follow her to his car so they could go look at the listing she came to look at. “Why are you here Eve?” Zed spat as he drove towards the property.

“I missed you”

“No you didn’t. Now why are you fucking here!?” Zed yelled as he turned into the driveway of the property.

“I came back, because we need to talk.”

“Did you bring Brooklyn with you?”

“No we need to talk first”

After showing Eve the house Zed went back to the office and clocked out for lunch. Zed took Eve to Sulivan’s for lunch, not thinking that Autumn and Zoey would be there for lunch. Zoey saw them first and tried to distract Autumn, but she saw the look on Zed’s face and knew something was wrong. “Hey babe!” Autumn cooed as she walked over to kiss Zed. Eve caught a glimpse of her engagement ring and about threw up. “I shouldn’t have come. I can’t do this to him. He’s made a life here.” She thought. Zoey was quick to notice Eve’s chance in expression as she ushered for her to sit down with them. “Umm no, thanks i’m good. I’ll see you guys later.” She quickly grabbed her stuff before hurrying out of the restaurant.
