“Someone want to tell me what the fuck is going on?” Autumn asked as she looked at the other three teens at the table.

Zoey looked across the table at Ty and Zed. Zed was speaking nonsense to the wall as Zoey looked at the two boys across the table from her. “Ok we will tell you, but not here” Zoey said as she got out of the booth motioning for Autumn to follow her as Ty stood Zed up and headed to the door. “Zed how did you get here buddy?” Ty asked as he watched a smile spread across Zed’s face. “Really buddy? Again? You know you should have called” “S-s-sorry” Zed slurred as Ty practically dragged him to his car. “He drove again. I’ll come get his car in the morning. Let’s get him back to the house and in the shower.” Ty said as Zoey agreed. “Umm did you just say again? What the fuck is going on and why are you two so calm?” Autumn asked as she followed them to the car. “Autumn I promise we will explain at my house” Zoey said as they climbed into the car. Autumn ran and got in her car as she followed Ty’s car to Zoey’s house. Once they got to the house Zoey helped Ty get Zed upstairs and in the shower. “Can you please tell me what is going on?” Autumn asked as tears brimmed the edge of her eyes. “Yeah, i’ll tell you. Ty can you please call your mom and let her know and see if you can stay here tonight?” “Of course babe” Ty said as he kissed Zoey before leaving the room. Zoey motioned for Autumn to sit next to her on Zed’s bed, so that she could keep an ear out for her brother.

“Zed has had a really rough life Autumn. Our mom got in a car crash not long after she had me.” “Wait, everyone at school says you guys are twins?” Autumn aske with confusion in her tone. “Zed just says that because we are so close after everything that has happened, Zed is actually 2 years older than me” Zoey chuckled. “Oh.” The girls sat there for a few minutes before Zoey continued. “After our mom’s car accident, my dad blamed Zed, why he blamed him then and still does. I will never know. Our dad has always been very abusive to Zed and it has taken a toll on him.” Just as Zoey said that Ty walked back into the room. “Zoey, Zed says you don’t know about what your dad did to him.” “I do, but Zed doesn't know. I don’t want him to be more hurt then he already is” Zoey said as she turned back to Autumn. “Zed put up with our dad for years. Then when he told us 3 years ago that we were moving here as the moving truck pulled up, Zed felt like what was left of his life was being ripped away from him. When we moved here he started dying his hair green and spending less time at home once he found out my dad had moved here to be with his girlfriend. He started spending a lot of time with me at Ty’s house, which was good because it distracted him until what happened last year.” “What happened?” Autumn asked as she looked between Zoey and Ty. “A year ago today was the four year anniversary of our mom's death. We were hanging out at Ty’s when our dad called us and told us that he proposed to his girlfriend. Zed lost it and stormed over here. He downed a 5th of Tequila before my dad came home. Me and Ty came over to check on Zed. When we got here Zed was beating the shit out of our dad. Dad being the dick that he is thought it was funny and just kept laughing at Zed. Ty managed to pull Zed off my dad, then my dad told Zed that he didn’t give a fuck about him and that he never wanted to see him again, he said he was moving in to his fiances house and taking me with him. Zed, TY, and me were quick to say no as Zed stood in front of me. Dad gave up a few months ago with trying to talk to either of us after he called and said he was happy with her and that they were starting a family, that he didn’t need us. Zed had been calming down a bit until Gabe attacked him at football practice today after you called him and told him what happened before practice.” “What?! I never called him. I did call Zed an ass and told him to stay away from me, but I never called Gabe.” “Then how did he know what happened?” Ty asked. “Ohh fuck he was at the pizza place picking up pizzas for all of the guys at practice, he must have saw us” Autumn said with hurt and anger in her voice. “Autumn, Gabe doesn't know why Zed acts the way he does, or why me and Zoey just let it go. He hates Zed.” Ty told her as he looked at her and Zoey. “Maybe if we explain everything to him, he might not be so hard on Zed” Autumn said “It’s worth a try, all Zed has is Me, Ty, and his mom and siblings” Zoey said as Ty pulled out his phone and called Gabe to come over.
