Where are you?
Audin answer the damn phone.
Seriously Audin stop bullshitting around and text me back.
I ignored another message from Harley as I browsed the aisle I'd come to the store for. Okay that's a lie, the second aisle I'd come to the store for. I'd originally come for the candy over leaping my hand basket, but I suppose the feminine products would be good to stalk up on.
Damn Mother Nature struck me hard this morning with a big bowl of kicking cramps, and let's just say, with my sisters lurking around for their winter break, I wasn't prepared.
Briann and Dawn had ransacked my beautiful candy stash and left me with only one chocolate bar. One! I hate chocolate!
I strolled down the aisle every man fretted only to find a young man standing in the dead center. He had two boxes in his hand and a questionable look on his face.
I walked to the end where my usual brand was located and dropped a box into my basket. Turning around I headed out to the check out counter.
"Excuse me, miss?" I turned toward the young man. "I'm sorry I don't usually have to do the shopping, but I don't know what to get my girlfriend. I had no idea there were so many kinds..."
"Oh um okay, that fine. Can I ask-" My phone vibrated furiously in my hand.
I glanced down at my screen.
Audin where the hell are you. This isn't funny.
"I'm sorry can I ask what your girlfriend looks like, her height, build?" My phone vibrated again.
Fucking pick up your phone now.
"Yeah she's a little taller than you, here's a picture." He said as he showed me his screen saver of the two of them, and my phone vibrated, again.
WHERE. ARE. YOU.
"Wow, you are a popular girl." He commented.
"Haha hardly, it's just my... friend." I said. "Here I'd get this one, it's the average and should be fine for her."
"Thank you so much!" The man said.
"You're welcome." I told him as I continued to the check out.
The lady at the cashier began to ring me up as I got an incoming call.
"Hello?" I answered as I swiped my card and placed my pin in.
"Hello, that's what you have to say. Hello."
"Oh Harley I'm doing great too thanks for asking." I said sarcastically as I grabbed my grocery sacks.
"This isn't funny Audin. Why didn't you answer my messages?" Harley said bitterly.
"Well I was at the store, so I didn't think it would be a problem if I got the things I needed first. Excuse me if I was wrong." I got into the passenger side of Ella's car.
Currently she was the only on of my friends speaking to me since the lunch incident and what they heard about Gabe and the coffee shop.
"All ready?" She asked, and I nodded, pointing to my phone.
She nodded and then mouthed, "Harley." And I nodded in response.
"Might ask what was so damn important that you didn't answer my messages?" Harley asked.
"If you must know I was picking up tampons." He was dead silent on the end whereas Ella was dying in the drivers seat.
"Well, where are you going now?" He asked.
