Just wanted to say thank you for reading! Just kidding ahahaha, uwu. I actually wanted to explain the drawing up there. It's basically and visual idea of what they look like in the chapter and their height differences. And the Song, I few lyrics are in italics while giyu is at the park in the chapter. Little spoiler there but it's whatever.

Soulmate AU

Once a person turns 16 years old, the first words their soulmate will say to them will show on their dominant hand.

There I sat at the dinner table. My parents and sister looking at me. Shinobu and Kanroji next to me probably preparing to smash my head in the cake. Tanjiro and Nezuko next to my family. A big blue cake sat in front of me with 16 lit candles. The moment the clock hits 12 i turn 16. The moment I blow these candles out, the words will pop out on my wrist. Was I ready? Nope. Did I care? Not at all.

"Tomioka-San it's about to be 12, start blowing out those candles!"

Shinobu patted my shoulder. I watched the clock

I blew the candles out and Tanjiro and Nezuko threw confetti.

"Happy Birthday!!!!"

My mom removed the candles from the cake and began cutting it. Kanroji jumped up and down.

"Well what does it say? What does it say?"

I looked down at my wrist to see the words 'Holy Shit' imprinted on it. Mitsuri tilted her head.

"Why those words?"

I shrugged.

"It doesn't matter anyways. Most people greet me with those words so I'll never know who it'll be."

That, was three years ago, almost four. In a few months I turn 20. Kanroji still has hope for me, and she's trying to be supportive about it. She found her soul mate two years ago and she's been with him ever since. She engaged already. Shinobu, well I don't know about her, she lost hope for me 3 days after my 16th birthday.

Me? I never had hope in the beginning anyways. People always greet me with a holy shit, and then have a "you're the guy who," or a "you're that one kid" after it, considering I always got in trouble in school. I've told myself multiple times, once people greet me with those two words, I'll say nothing. That way, I'll never find out who it is.
