Nathan's POV

(An hour before the club scene)

I walked back into my office and I got a text from my mother.

Mother❤️: heyy hun something came up at one of my restaurants. So I have to go in and fix things reign check on dinner?

Me: ofc. Everything ok?

Mother❤️: yeah.
Mother❤️: can you tell coltin I'm sorry next time please.

Me: ok.

Mother❤️: K. Love you!

Me: love you too.

I started back doing my work when my phone buzzed again. I ignored it the first time until my assistant came on the intercom.

"Mr. Vinci your fiancé is on her way up."

"Thanks."

I continued to work on some more paperwork. When my phone buzzed again. I looked at it and saw Sean texted me a file it was about coltin.

Sean: I found her!

Me: thx.

Sean: anytime.

Yes I asked my best friend to look up coltin. Why? Because when we broke off she disappeared. I couldn't find her know where. She changed her number, address, school, everything.

I was just about to open the file when Dayana came bussing in.

"Nathan have you been trying to ignore me? I've been trying to reach out to you."

"I've been here at work. What is it you need?"
I said as I looked at her in annoyance.

"I really didn't need anything. I just wanted to talk." She said as she came over to my desk in front of me.

She tried to kiss me but I moved away trying to get some work done. "I can't talk. I have work."

Just as I said that my phone buzzed and it was Sean. I looked at it but before I could respond my phone was snatched from me.

"What the fuck is your problem?"

"My problem?" She scoffed. " my problem is my own fiancé doesn't want to help me plan our wedding but instead text and go to work all day." She said with tears.

Here we go with the tears.

"Well Dayana if someone doesn't work who else going to bring in money, huh? You want all of these nice ass shit and expensive clothes and gifts but if I don't work there's no money coming in." I said as I stood up yelling.

"What's that suppose to mean?"

"Dayana look I don't have time for this." I said as I started to gather my suit jacket and my phone rung.

I loooked at the idea and answered.

"Are you serious right now?" Dayana said as she stood in shock.

"Yes Sean."

"You want to go hangout in the new club tonight it just opened?"

"I'm down what time?"

"Meet me there at 8:15."

I hung up and looked at Dayana whose still in my offfice.

"Are you cheating on me?"

"Really? If anything I should be asking you that? You didn't think I would notice you coming home all late. Don't be silly sweet heart, if I wanted to cheat on you, you would have known."
