COLTIN POV

|Flashback|

Sophomore

I was walking in the hallway when I got pushed into a locker making all of my books fall from my hand along with me.

"Freak!" I heard a girl say as others laughed.

I looked up to see the kids who did it and I only recognized Dayana and Fernando. They laughed at me as they began to walk away. But I heard a loud noise ahead of me and see a familiar face push Fernando into another locker.

His face was now scared, confused, and nervous.

"Apologize." The boy who was keeping Fernando hostage said.

"Really man. Why?" Fernando said in defense.

"Because I said so. And you know exactly what I'll do if you don't. I'm not asking twice."

I wonder what would have happened if he didn't because there was no way Fernando was apologizing to me.

"Alright. Sorry." He said looking at me.

Wait, what? I looked so confused at what just happened.

He let him go and he ran off with the other kids. I quickly started to pick up my items before he came for me next. When I saw a pair of white hands pick up my history book. I looked up to see the familiar face.

"Here you go."

"Thank you," I said as I took my book.

"You shouldn't let them bully you. You gotta stand up for yourself."

"Yeah like how you bully me also."

That's why he looked so familiar. He was that boy who always took everything from me when he needed to use something without asking me first. And called me 'query pants' because I always asked questions.

I never bother to know his name but what he looked like. He was white with short blonde hair, taller than me as everyone was, with a nice face. He was cute.

A smirk of guilty appeared on his face.

"Yeah. Sorry about that. I just figured you wouldn't mind." he smirked.

"It's fine. Thanks. You didn't have to threaten your friend. It's just books and papers."

"Sure. If that idiot decided to come at you again let me know. Nathaniel Vinci, but everyone calls me Nathan."

"Coltin Anderson. Also known as Coltin." I said smiling shaking his hand...

|Flashback Ended|

I woke up from a memory of when I and Nathan first met. Which was very weird since I wished to never see him again. I look at the time and it was around 6:15 am so I decided to get ready for work.

Today I really don't have a lot to do but paperwork. I may have a few houses to show out of the city but that's bout it. I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready.

Once I got to work Yessli immediately came rushing towards me.

"So how was the event? Did you meet any celebrities? How bout my husband Big Sean?" She asked excitedly.

"I thought Lloyd was your boyfriend?"

"Yeah. Boyfriend not my husband?" she said as I shook my head.
