I wake up and walk down stairs the house is spotless and the boys are gone a note lays on the table "at the hotel." Dean signed it I throw it in the trash and walk to the kitchen. My dad walks through the door I run over to him hugging him "hey dad I missed you." He hugs me tight "I missed you to." He kisses the top of my head. "How was prom I close my eyes "it was prom I guess." He smiles "did dante ask you?" I shake my head no "jack did." I blush thinking about him.
"Well spill it who's jack?" My dad says "it's Cassie's brother." My dad tilts his head "I didn't know Cassie had a brother." I laugh "well she does dad." He laughs "so when can I meet him." I frown a little "well I don't know." My phone dings i pick it up and open it's dean "hey kiddo wanna meet us at the dinner in 5?" I Hold my phone staring at the text then respond "be there in 10." He reads it and sends a thumbs up.
I get dressed and drive to the dinner pulling in jack rushes out of the door I get out of the car and he rushes over hugging me "I missed you." He picks me up and twirls me around I laugh. He puts me down and kisses my cheek "I missed you to jack." He grabs my hand and takes me into the dinner where they guys all sit talking I sit down and they stare at me. "What's wrong?" I say looking at dean "we found a way home." My jaw drops "so you and jack need to talk like immediately about what's going on." The room spins.
"I-I thought that I had more time." I say grabbing jacks hand tightly "I'm sorry kiddo." I make jack stand up and I get out of the booth and run out of the dinner getting in the car speeding away. My chest tightens as I pull up at my house. I walk in my dad stands in the kitchen I hear him talking to someone I walk in the kitchen and my mom stands at the counter.
"Mom what the hell are you doing here?" I say she turns around "hey sweetheart." She moves towards me I walk back "please don't touch me." She looks down "I'm sorry Lexi bug." Tears fill my eyes "you left me mom I haven't seen you in 10 years mom you promised you'd come back." She looks down and I run to my room. I sit in my bed and call jack "I'm going with you guys you just have to meet my dad so I can tell him." He is silent "your sure about this." I look around the room "I'm sure." I hang up and lay back in the bed.
