Back to the basics

I wake up in my bed and smile "I'm home." I say giggling I get up and change and walk down the stairs. My dad stands in the kitchen with a newspaper "hey sweetie." He says smiling "I was beginning to think I dreamed you being back." I laugh "nope definitely not a dream." I walk over to him and hug him. "I missed you dad." I say hugging him tighter I pull away and look at the floor "I wanna go to school." He smiles.

"Anything you want it just might be weird for a few people." I look at him in shock "what do you mean." He sets his coffee cup down on the counter. "It May be weird for Cassie and Izzy and possibly Dante." He says "they think your dead Izzy is paralyzed from the wreck." I grimace at the thought of her hurting "what happened dad?" I say looking at him he grabs my hand. "Izzy was texting when a truck merged over and you pulled the wheel to swerve away the car flipped 12 times." He says slowly pausing to let me catch up.

"She thinks it's her fault?" I say he shakes his head "I'm afraid so kiddo." I smirk but then smile " I can help her." I grab an apple and run out of the door "I'll be back love you." He screams he loves me back and I open the door and run down the road. I call jack and give him Izzy's address he appears out of no where I hang my phone up "I forgot your powers are back here." He laughs "yeah what's up why are we here?" He says tilting his head "to help Izzy walk again you can heal her right?" I say curiously he shakes his head "anything for you." I smile and kiss his cheek.

We knock on the door and Dante answers he almost faints "a-Alexis is that you?" He says I shake my head "long story but it can wait I'm here to help Izzy." I say smiling. He hugs me "thank god your alive." He pulls away and let's us in "follow me." We walk down the hall I can hear machine beeps echoing through the hall. He knocks on the door "Izzy someone really special is here to see you." He opens the door and she lays in the bed hooked to machines "wait no way." She says "am I in heaven?" I laugh and walk over to the bed and take her hand "You're not in heaven." She smile and hug her.

"I'm here to help you walk again." I say smiling she grips my hands tight. Jacks eyes glow as he runs his hands over her legs her toes wiggle. "Oh my god." She says covering her mouth Dante's jaw drops "how is he doing that?" I smile and grab his shoulder. Izzy extends her hand and Dante takes It she stands and walks across the room. "I can walk but how?" I shake my head "I can't tell you I'm sorry." She smiles "I understand." She hugs me and jack "thank you so much." We smile and jack takes my hand and we appear in my room.
