As the ferry got closer to Kildare island Maddy felt a huge weight be lifted from her shoulders and another one replace it instantly, she was so excited to see her friends again. She was so excited to be home, but one thing she was dreading was seeing her brother again. Maddy had no where to live is what I'm saying, the Chateau was out of the question. Yes Maddy was always welcome there but there was no way she was just going to randomly show up and say with a huge smile and puppy dog eyes, " can I stay here please?" That wasn't how her mom had raised her.
Though John B would definitely say yes to her she would feel like she was imposing, she could probably buy a tent and then just camp out in the woods . It's not like Maddy would live there permanently but it would be better then nothing, and when Cobra... JJ's cousin got out of prison they could always room together. To be honest Cobra was like Maddy's real big brother, in prison the two had shared a cell and fought for each other when the other was knocked down. The minute Maddy mentioned how she was one of JJ's best friends the two kids were practically inseparable, well besides when it was shower day.
No if you saw Cobra Maddy wasn't too far behind, it was like that Vice versa. Cobra would always sneak Maddy food from the wardens office and Maddy would help him find away to get more bedding for each other without Jerry the cell guard finding out. In prison you didn't get to learn each others real names, so JJ's cousin was always Cobra mostly because he was sneaky and cunning like a snake. While Maddy... Her nickname had more to do with what the police found in her house the day the young tween was arrested. All the inmates knew her as Chopper. When you think about it, that can mean a lot of things, and the rumors of what she did were what got her to the top of the food chain. Right next to Cobra. Maddy was snapped from her thoughts as the boat jolted forward. Regaining her balance Maddy's grey eyes shot around the place, the old wooden dock that led to the board walk was freshly stained. Hundreds of fishing boats tied to the pilings on the docks, While Seagulls flew above the grass roofed buildings that were meant for souvenirs, food, and always full of fishing supplies. Tired limbs pushed the bike up onto the rickety wood and towards the burning cement of the island. On her short to do list the number one things to do today were to find a place to stay and find the Pogues. Where ever the hell they may actually be, she had no idea. They could have died from the black plague for all she knew.
Maddy was almost to the fence that boarded the ferry departure area when she heard a loud whistle that sounded more like a cat call just to the right of the fence. Her gaze quickly shifted to a boy that was dressed rather stupidly. He was in a bubble gum pink polo shirt, and wore khakis, he had somewhat blonde hair, and his head kind of looked like someone took a toe, put it in photo shop made it bigger and stuffed it on a human body. Annoyance flowed through Maddy's body as she realized who the son of a bitch was. Rafe Cameron, the boy of Tanny hill. God did she want to throw him into a volcano, sadly there were no volcanoes near by and she couldn't afford to fly two people too Hawaii. Rafe was always such an idiot. He thought he could take anything and everything he wanted and all he had to do was bat his eyelashes at the ladies of Kooklandia and they were all over him. Though Maddy never understood why, like I said she viewed him as a toe with a face. Though Rafe was more then just the annoying boy from Tanny hill, he was also one of the people who pushed Maddy so far that she finally snapped. He was another reason she was shoved into that god awful prison cell, you'll probably hear more about him and the pairs conflicts later.
