Gabe couldn't help but zoom out as Frank, her best friend kept on talking about Miles Fairchild
Really, this was supposed to be her best year at Greenland boarding school
Senior year to be exact but everything went downhill when she realized that she had a crush on frank
"Did you guys hook up?" Gabe asked
"Maybe"
"Ew," She said playfully

Gabe was spending the afternoon at frank dorm to "study", that's how she called it,
When really they just drink cheap alcohol
Of course, every boarding school has rules

- Don't have sex
-don't bring anyone down with you.
Easy right?
"Ready for strawberry wine?" Frank says
After a few, they forget it was only 5 bucks

And before you know it Gabe was drunk yet sober enough to do the right thing.

"I should put you with Angel," Frank says as she lights up a cigarette
"You know double dates"
"What no!" Gabe says as frank hands her the cigarette down 
"Why not?"
"Just no"
Gabe starts coughing, she usually never smoked.
But now drunk she couldn't help but to stare at frank
She tried to never do it, but when she was alone with her she had you. Almost like a magnet that attracts her.

They lay down in bed, still looking up
"You know, I don't like miles"
Gabe turned her body to frank
"Is that so" frank was looking at Gabe
"Why not?"
But Gabe didn't speak
She was focused on franks lips, smile, eyes, everything
Everything in her wanted to kiss her
she got closer to frank, still keeping eye contact to make sure Frank wasn't uncomfortable
She kissed her, wanted to keep kissing her

"Holy shit," someone said
Frank immediately stood up
It was Miles
"What the fuck Gabrielle" frank pushed her out the bed
"So you're a fag now?" Miles spoke
"I have to go" Gabe grabbed her coat and shoes and rushed out

Her dorm was only 3 away from Frank's

"No no no no no" she mumbles
"No!" She screamed with everything she has in her.
She hugged her legs making herself in a small ball
Still pouring her eyes out

"Shh"

Gabe jumped out of fear
"It's me" Lis whispers
"Everything going to be okay"
She continues to brush her hair with her hand
And eventually, both fall asleep

"Wake up" Gabe felt a slight push to her side

She heard all the whispers and voices outside her door
"What happened?" She asked
"You don't need to see," Lis said

She tried to block her but Gabe pushed her away

Everyone started to get away when she got out.

And on the door said
"D*ke"
It was big enough for everyone to see,
"Welcome the fag" Miles spoke
"Shut up!"

Miles smirked
"Cmon Gabe! Tell everyone how you tried to fuck Frank"
"I did not!"
Everyone started gasping, whisper among each other

"That's enough!" Mr.hayde Said
"Everyone go to class!"
"Do you want to talk miss young?"
"No" I whisper
"Can I stay in my dorm today?"
"You may"

"Can I stay too?" Lis asked
Hayde looked at me
" I suppose you can too"

I tried to take of the paint with my nails
"It's not going to come off like that" Lis pointed
She grabbed a plastic card and starting scrapping it
"It's not true," Gabe says
"What?" Lis asked
"That I'm... that"
"It doesn't matter what you are"

They both started scraping in silence

But all Gabe wanted was to leave, to get far away.

But it didn't stop there
All girls didn't want to hang with her, nor boys

"fag" was all Gabe heard
Miles made sure everyone reminded her of her sexuality
No one wanted to be her friend anymore and most importantly she lost frank.

"Ignore them" Lis will always say but how could she, she got called a fag, d*ke, and so many other things.

She just wanted to die, wanted to forget anything ever happened.

It was midnight, it was dark and quiet
She had many options
Stabbing herself, overdose, drowning
But all had the same effect

But that night didn't go as planned
"I'm not going to let you kill yourself," Lis said to Gabe
"I'm here for you" she told Gabe
Hugging her as tightly as she could
Didn't let her go, will not let her go anytime soon

and they both forgot about that night, that's just another bad memory for Gabe now.
