I turn on my phones screen to check the time. i grabbed my sweater from the floor and put it on. i tried to open my window slowly trying to make zero noise. i look around before climbing out the window and going up the stairs that lead to the roof.
As I entered the roof Finn says "you're late"
I lay next to him "I know" I whispered.
"The stars look extra pretty tonight" he says
"They remind me of you" I say
I try to always flirt with him but he never seems interested
I always felt fear coming up to the roof every night worried that my parents might notice I am gone, but I always love stargazing with Finn.
"Look" Finn points at a star in the inner corner of our left, "that one is so bright, looks like you tonight" he whispers
This is the first time he ever flirted back with me.
I turn to look at him but he didn't turn to look back at me, he kept on looking up in the sky,
"Sometimes I feel like you like he" he slips out "wait no i'm sorry"
"Do you want me to like you?" I say
He stays quiet.
"Maybe" he finally answers.
"What If I do like you?
"Well then, I would like you too" Finn says
He turned to look at me, but I kept on looking up.
He reached his hand over to my hair and started playing with it. I finally turn my head to look back at him, he instantly turns to his side, and so do I.
He starts to lean in and so do I.
Our night ends like this tonight, and for the rest of our night.
